^^LOL!
V6 was available for the same price but I decided against it. My birthday is the 4th anyway so it made sense :)
Will try and get some pics tomorrow :)
I am not too worried about the £15, I just want the plate on my car now :D lol
Just hope they are not too busy when I go to the DVLA office as its quite a trek for me.
I have a feeling they are going to charge me too. They have caused me nothing but hassle since being with them and am looking forward to going with another company next month!
The office is closes at 5pm and I won't be able to get there until 4pm! Just hope they can do it for me because I haven't got time to do it for at least a few weeks otherwise!
Hi Everyone,
I bought a private number plate at the beginning of the week and have already recieved the information and certificate through the post. I now have to either send it off or take it to a DVLA office now for the next step.
If I take it to the office will they do it straight away so...
Remember, if your car didn't come out the factory with them on you will need to declare them on you're insurance. Stupid I know but when I asked about it they said the insurance could be void over such a small thing!
I have had both of those rattles. The first one Renault sorted under warranty. It turned out to be the computer which was loose?!?!
The one by the clocks though I still have as its only just happened recently, build quality is crap lol.
Thanks for the kind comments :)
Martin - Sorry I didn't, I did remember seeing you in the gravel trap once though lol.
Anyone else want to download it? :)
I am slightly mental yes. They asked if it had any extras on the car and I said it has the factory option of Stripes and it came like that. He put me on hold and said I had to delcare them!
That was nearly a year ago, I will be changing companies this time and won't be declaring them as they...
Have you got them declared on your insurance?
When I bought the car last year and got insured with Elephant they said I needed to declare them as an External Modifcation. I did this and it cost me £150. :dapprove:
My car came with them on so they are standard surely?
Thanks
James
Thanks :)
Yeah the Porsche got annoying because I was quicker through the corners but he was fast on the straights lol.
I really enjoyed myself that day and it was great fun. I went out a couple more times after that but had to stop after a while as I had no brake pads left!
Hi Everyone,
I have finally got around to uploading my Donington Park trackday video (its only take me about 6 months!). It was my first trackday but was great fun. Thanks to Penfold for sorting out the camera/mounting etc.

Enjoy :)
Lucas - I know what you mean about the Xenons, they are great and worth having thats for sure. As for the stereo I think most people would upgrade theirs anyway (if they have a Cup) and most people don't mind the seats. I came from a 1.1i saxo so to me its perfect :)
^^ True but the luxuries aren't all that great I reckon. To be honest who cares about a few extra kilo's, a car is a car!
I think this thread has gone a bit off topic, sorry!
Who cares about the half leather seats?! They are no better than the dynamique ones anyway.
The Cup has everything I need and it was nothing to do with it being cheaper, the waiting list was an extra 2 months for a Full Fat when I got my cup! I also got a good deal at the time!
Oh yeah, and the...
Andy,
I was the same with my car, I put on about 8k in my first 6 months but have stopped doing loads of milage now I don't have a girlfriend who lives miles away lol.
Buying, running and maintaining a 2nd car is VERY expensive so its not really worth doing.
