LOL. If not, we've got people of all shapes and sizes going. I'm sure we can rustle up a pair between us, lol.

Every Tuesday, yeah. Understanding of the game and ability are unnecessary, really. James manages ok. ;) At Spelthorne leisure Centre, Knowle green, Staines.. 9pm sharp.

^No point fitting the plenum before, as it's got to come off anyway!

    Gearbox is dead :(

Buy a second hand box and fit it yourself. Not the hardest job in the world if you've done bits like that already..

New tyres question - get rid of new budget tyre?

^ Also illegal here, IIRC. Policing it isn't easy, though.

    Rear brake pad types?

The ones shown above are correct.

    Rear brake pad types?

Front pads have the butterfly clip that presses against the caliper to keep the pads seated. Rear ones have a metal wire that bends round to hold them in, as well as the sliding bar, iirc.

    tomorrow is almost here!

Calm down, pal. You seem to have a royal stick up your arse over the last few days. Pretty much every post is trying to rip people for something you don't have much idea about.

    Rear brake pad types?

Ph1 172 use ones without a butterfly clip, iirc. I'm not sure if they changed since then, though.

    tomorrow is almost here!

Pretty much, most people on here will tellyou to keep it standard and save the money you'd spend on mods saving for something faster/upgraded! Oh, and FFS don't crash. I did and I'm still paying for it, lol.

    Losing water and smoking 172

Take off the oil cap and check underneath. If there's an mayonaisey liquid on the cap, it sounds like headgasket. Not too common on 172's though..

    Losing water and smoking 172

Weird. Checked the oil cap for mayo-like gunk? Any loss in performance?

Iceberg Ph2 172 and Filthy Willy, Chertsey last night..

172 saw down Free Prae Road, looked nice. And the Williams was down Little Green lane, absolutely filthy. Looked awesome!

    Best cutting compound for swirlmarks?

Tbh, a machine polish is the way to go if you want to get rid of the swirls. You'll have arms like Popeye if you manage to lose them by hand.

Quite pricey, but the pitches are bigger, too. You could comfortably play 6 a side making it less than £5 each.. Just doing my weekly pizza and beer warm up. Win.

    Best cutting compound for swirlmarks?

I use Farecla G3 from memory for the worst of the marks. Watch out though, it's f**king vicious!

We've got to make the games five minutes long or something next time there's three teams. Oh and hurry the eff up picking teams. 20 minutes easily wasted there. Roll on the next few weeks, we should play outside! Egham leisure centre have outside courts, but they're a bit more money. About £50...

Brembo Max lasted 50 miles :(

I'd strip the caliper down and clean it properly. Grease up the sliders and try it again..

    Fancy alloy alternator setup

Saw a TB'd GTi-6 engine that Sandy built. My god. Work of art. I'll try and dig out the pics. EDIT:
