Couple people have done it, Storm Rider's purple mk2 has the inserts colour coded and also on a ph1 in racing blue the guy's taken apart the lights and sprayed the innards white.
Why are you defending this heap of s**t? :quiet:
I don't give a flying f**k if the doors still open thanks to some blind eyed hacksaw movements, it looks like the ideal replica for someone who doesn't know what they really look like.
LOL!
Would've replicated a colour concept or something myself.
Look like they should be behind some big organ on a sunday service at the local christ centre.
Wheels, look decent.
I'd have done the button the same colour as the car and the rear diamond back to silver!
Can you not get the spoiler machine polished up?
Front TOW sticker does look a bit bad but the tow eye is quite nice.
I took the bumpstrips off, they all unclip! Only things I didnt do were door handles, spoiler and rear black strip.
The paint was direct from Renault, pricey but at least I knew it'd be 100% correct!
Sanding down the orange peel was the most time consuming thing, the longer of the door strips...
My old 1.4 sounded great with my Sony headunit, speakers and Alpine speakers! Seriously considering getting all the same stuff for my 172.
All Halfrauds jobbies but did it ever so well.
What I did to my 1.4 ! Probably cost me around £70 + time and effort as I did it myself but it looks OEM! Was going to lower it but tbh I didn't feel the need to do it!!
The bump strips are all clipped on so just take some time to get them off.
Colour coding shouldn't affect your insurance either and if done properly looks fairly OEM.
Lowering will affectthe insurance though as it affects performance/handling.
If you knew you had aslower car would you still act like a prick and try and race off the lights? Why even bother when you've got a high powered car hmmmm?
