That was going to be my next choice. I loved my BC's and are a very well made kit and very well protected but are more money.
I guess budget comes into it. That's the reason I chose bilsteins as there cheaper.
I would normally do silver. In fact, ive got silver rears as i felt they was the best colour when I had anthracite turinis, but I just feel that it looks too lost behind the white 2118s. With them being spokey, I feel I can get away with a bolder colour but it won't look too ott as the spokes...
Who was I speaking to about a small jack? I'm sure it was yesterday!
I have a small one at work that I don't want. Bit dirty but perfect fine and is free :)
Its was an opportunity that was too good to miss. I had the decency to ask if I could take some pics which I think went a long way, so he didn't mind. He even thanked me for asking.
Cheers Scott. I don't have a clue either really, its more a learning curve for me. I'm still practising:)...
Thanks @Matthew
I kinda like the red tbh. I don't have any yellow on the car so I wouldn't go for that. The red looks good behind the white and against the rear lights. Although red is bold, the 2118s are quite spokey so it would look more sutble than behind turinis i think.
Found this too...
All that money, time and effort put into it, is it not worth keeping now?
It's barely been used. Or is it more of the build that you enjoyed, hence wanting a kit car?
Haha, sounds like a typical wife comment! They just don't understand!
Oh and I believe that regarding the lowering of the volvo, if you could, you would!!
Same!
I have always said that poly bushing the lower mount is such a great mod to do and really recommend, especially when the cost is so cheap but the difference is noticeable.
You know what it's like dave. Cold, foggy, beginning of the year and bloody packed.
Me and Richard was saying it's Deja Vu!

While at the North Weald meet i managed to get a few pics of the RB while the Spitfire was out. I had to be careful where i parked, so i just pulled up and took a quick few shots but i like them so i thought i'd share on here
Im going to paint my brakes soon as don't like the current rust/dirt.
I have currently go silver rear ones and it looked good when i had the anthracite turinis but now i have white 2118's i feel it doesn't look as good. The white wheels will be staying so i feel that i need something that will...
Few pics from today:
Was a good meet today. My first in a while and it was good to see the regulars and some new faces. Loved the bacon, egg and mushroom baguette with salad/coleslaw too :yum:
Some people don't want to see that before eating a cafe breakfast @STEVE.M :tired:
I was planning on just having a cuppa, but the stomach is rumbling so breakfast bap added too!
I use b14s answer standard top mounts and mine does 40miles daily.
You can always get softer springs for the Gaz's to keep it more everyday rather than track focused. As there being removed to do that, you could fit standard top mounts at the same time.
