I will be honest and likewise had to google.. I appears it involves building full race spec cars with the intention of parking them up and nothing more.

Pay some subs and get access to the sales section here.. its well worth it for cheap parts.
Just make sure you buy 54mm spaced front shocks if you buy some. Don't be tempted by 182 cup shocks thinking they are the same.

Tip - if your going to clean your (assuming s/h) 182 belts. Don't get frustrated trying to pull the new belts out when they just lock. Position them in the car and this will give you the perfect angles they need to sit at to allow you to pull them out. Pull them all the way out then pinch...

Playing devils advocate.. if your asking those sort of questions regarding the cambelt kit. Buying a kit to DIY might not be a wise move. As steve has said budget for a specialst to do them, immediatley (unless you buying the car for peanuts and happy to drive till it goes bang)

Don't know enough about the RS3 hasn't it just been revised? Appreciate out your budget new but would that bother you? Where as the m3/m4 has a legs for a little while longer.

Anyone actually pulled the two bits apart to do this. The bar holding the two bits looks very compression once only fit.
