should i put on my valver - currently on F1 cups... looking for something i can get for the same sort of value of mine!

My opinion is that people look at a valver for sale, in mint condition, low miles for the year priced at 3k, then think.. hang on a min... save or spend 2k more and I have myself a 172 which is newer, has lower miles, more toys and less hassle and more power. Im not saying a mint valver is...

Bit of a let down for me when i saw the trophy.... it may well have fancy seats and suspension but it does not have the wow factor that the 172 cup had on me.... but of course thats just my opinion!!!

Went to some specialist forums and the results are........ amp is rated at 180w RMS but rockford always quoted a lower figure and in real output its 200w rms+ not bad for an 8 year old amp, puts some much larger amps to shame!!

There quite good quality and it was a choice between them or the really thin non protected leads - there under the seat so hidden away.. usually!!

Got it wrong lol! model is 2.9x and total power output is 275watts Just got to find out the RMS!

Have asked on the rockford fosgate forum too!!! think they should no.. well i hope they should!!

Rockford Fosgate 2.1x is all it says i think - will go have another look in a min!

I have 2 amps in my car and im trying to work out how much power one of them has!!!! This is the amp, is fairly old and its made by Rockford Fosgate, model number is 2.1x or 21x - any ideas on the RMS output??! does not say on it...

Although there was a cup on sale here a while back with aircon - one of the last i think.

Mines a k plate and i get a rattle here and there but no more than any other car!!! its one of the joys of owning a renault..... any or most of em anyway!

Im a 92 with 107k which is around 8.5k a year - not too bad!!

i have a little rust but in the past year the mechanics of the car have pretty much behaved themselves!! not bad for a 107k 92!!!

I can only afford a mk1 - not all of us can afford a 172 or 182, so for value for money and smiles I think the mk1 is one of the best drivers car.

My valver cost me £1100 and I must be lucky, because apart from a few niggling problems I seem to have had less problems that a lot of newer car owners on here!

It really depends on how long your wanting to keep the car... if its just a short term fix then yeah i would go for it.. but if your looking for a car that your going to keep for a while I would try getting something with less miles.. there is a lovely Diablo red 106 GTi on autotrader for...

Dont think anyone is saying that!! I would love a 172/182 but on my wage I cant afford one!!
