Yep, mine are fine. It's still on the pads and discs it left the factory with 34,000 miles ago, I've had zero fade on track and there's a good 2mm left on all pads all round.
As @Scrooge says, if they're working OK the standard ones are fine. So much so that even with a few options out there...
They are indeed! I was kind of relying on their natural survival instinct to do what they normally do and that's fly away at the last second so I share some of the blame.
There was also a whole load of s**t down the side to my front wheel arch. It was proper baked on when I got home last...
I would do exactly this. Nothing at all.
I ruined my 172 Cup by being obsessed with making in a leaner meaner track machine. What I should have done is a load more trackdays in it and just enjoyed it for what it was, a very capable car straight out of the box.

I'm on my second set of RE050s and I'll get to 36k before I need to change them...rotating them gets me 18k from a set.
I love mine in the wet, it's all over the place but in a way that makes you ultra comfortable with it moving about.
Not had it on a wet track yet though...must have been really bad for you to sack it off after 2hrs!

Mileage now is 33.5k and it was topped up at the last service which was pretty much bang on 25k miles.

I'd say after registration date. Check the manual as they do allow some leeway, I'm sure based on mileage they allow an extra 750 or maybe even 1,500 miles...so 30 days shouldn't be a problem.
Not a penny for both services so far (12.5 and 25k) and not a penny for the upcoming 37.5k service either...I had them thrown in (by the dealership as opposed to being the formal Ford service package) as part of my original order.
