    Phantom Black TT QS

As long as you have the right spline bit, which I didn't when I first tried to take the SW off my A3 haha. Them seats are lovely.

Nah, mine was just a 1.2 and to be fair, his website's shite LOL.

Thought you were close but couldn't remember haha. He owns his own shop but it's just him. He did the work on my Clio a couple of years ago but he was booked up about 3-4 weeks in advance, not sure how busy he is now. It's a place called Swillington Refinishers, not sure on number as I only...

How close to Swillington are you? When I crashed my first Clio, a guy down there did loads of work on the front end to get it straight again and resprayed the bonnet, front bumper and wings and did a really good job. It was Silver as well so had read that it's quite hard to get a good colour...

I'd be reluctant to give him it now. If he's like that after his mistake, just image what he'll be like if you aren't happy with it or something.

    French Boost Project

When you do sell a car and get another one, do you just switch your insurance over? I'm only 22 and only had 2 cars, coming up to my third now, but I've always just waited for my insurance to expire before insuring the next. However I'm looking to get an MX5 to put me on til I find a decent...

Ah well, accidents happen, doesn't look too bad though, wouldn't have thought it'd be a new bumper jobby. Me too, I'm just about to put my ayfree up for sale now so hopefully won't be too long :).

Tell him he can buy you a new one as your Christmas present haha. Have a good one dude.

Yeh mine were 18's on the A3, not the cheapest but certainly worth the money. Both, but with recent bad weather I'd go with tyres.

PS3's are brilliant. Had some on my A3 and it just gripped and gripped and gripped. Loads better than the ditch finders it came with.

TBH, I wasn't that anal about mine. I measured it when I was out of the car and it looked level so that was good enough for me. If I was going to track the car properly then yeh, I'd get it set up with corner weighing scales but as a daily, it's just wasted expense to me.

    Daniels Blue 182.

Pics of flatness scale needed. As I said, you'll never get it 100% spot on due to to many variables such as the amount of fuel you have at any given time etc. Adjust it 10mm, see if it visually looks like it sits level and leave it at that.

When I lived at my parents, I had a newly built Tesco Express about 5 mins away with a completely flat car park which you got to via a mahoosive wide speed bump. I adjusted them slightly, put wheel back on, went measured them, came home, adjusted some more, went back and measured them etc etc...

    Daniels Blue 182.

TBH, I never did and it didn't make much of a difference. There's too many variables to get it 100% spot on, such as how much fuel you have etc. Measuring from the arch to the floor on level ground and looking by eye is the best way to get it sitting as level as poss.

    Daniels Blue 182.

On my A3, one side sat lower than the other even with the adjusters in exactly the same place on either side, so to get it to actually sit level, one adjuster sat higher than the other. Best way to do it, and what I did, is to find a piece of land that is 100% flat and measure from the top of...

    My Nurburgring project smurf blue......

Never been a big fan of RB's but that's perfect. What suspensions it on? Sits spot on.
