Best place to buy arp rod bolts

Price is irrelevant if I can't get in touch with you and you don't get back to me. No worries though, sorted now. Russ

Best place to buy arp rod bolts

Just ordered a set from Chris astley motorsport as Fred never got back to me, circa £82 I think. Russ

Petrol Blue with cup spoiler & splitter, silver wheels

Definately don't see the appeal of petrol blue, its rare for a reason! Loads of nice colours on a 182 and petrol blue is not one of them. Russ

Best place to buy arp rod bolts

I'll give you a call tomorrow Fred. Russ

Best place to buy arp rod bolts

Might give Fred a call see if he has any, see if he has any cup racer brake ducts left while I'm on. Not sure on from the states, know of a company in Poland that keeps them but there should be plenty of people in the uk that keep them too without resorting to ktec. Russ

Best place to buy arp rod bolts

As title really looking for a stockist of arp rod bolts for my 182 motor. Preferably someone that keeps them in stock and does decent rates for cliosport members. Russ

    Titanium 182, My Ownership Diary.

Think it might be overkill with 25mm in mate but will wait for the pics. Might be interested in your 15mm's fir the front of mine depending what you're doing with them. Russ

Ah, you bought my 172 cup seats, seen you go past on the a69 towards brampton yesterday when we were on our way back. Russ

    182, 106 Rallye, 135i & GSXR 600 up Hartside

I've had a white s1 previously aswell just a 1.3 though and a couple of s2's. s2's have a thicker rear arb so are a bit stiffer on the back, I've got a one in mine now aswell. Turns in really fast but can be nervous in the damp but that's how I like it setup. Russ

    182, 106 Rallye, 135i & GSXR 600 up Hartside

IMO a 172 cup doesn't come close, even a 172 cup is massively civilised compared to a 106! russ

    182, 106 Rallye, 135i & GSXR 600 up Hartside

Yeah that's right mate, series 2's are less special IMO, just the same to look at as a gti with a vtr motor basically. S1 has a lot of unique parts and was built to homologate the rally cars. Russ

    182, 106 Rallye, 135i & GSXR 600 up Hartside

The rallye is mine, there's a thread in the general and motorsport media about it. Standard engine is a 1.3 8v with 100bhp mine is a 1.6 16v jp4/j4 hybrid motor with approx 140bhp and short ratio box good for 120mph on the limiter in 5th. Very evenly matched with piers' 182 and yes we did have...

My new racecar project (Icemans old shell)

Not updated for a while, bought a couple of bits for it, notably some more 2118 speedlines with R888's, i now have a set of both white and anthacite. Also managed to bag a set of used Jenvey Throttle bodies that have only done dyno time, came complete with everything, filter, TPS, lingage...

    Titanium 182, My Ownership Diary.

Looking good mate, front splitter totally transforms the car, they look lost without one, cant argue with a skoda one for the money seen as they're so easily knocked off, as you already know ;) BTW 106 is getting mot'd this week so i'm up for a run out next weekend if the weather is decent. Coilovers on clio 197

Tbh I'm not sure why people get so touched by this kind of thing, if he lowers his car and ruins the handling so what, I'll still sleep well at night. Something that nobody's mention is that 95% of these types of cars aren't driven properly anyway, they never see a country road or race track so...

My new racecar project (Icemans old shell)

The best pic i have of the white is this one Not the best but gives you an idea. 2 better pics of the anthacite inside If i was building from scratch i'd go for grey, looks fresher for longer, white gets grubby quickly on a race/track car. Russ

My new racecar project (Icemans old shell)

No problem mate, When I'm on the laptop ill put some pics up of this one even though its a little tatty at the moment and some of my old cup car which was metallic grey inside and out (ex tcr) will give you a decent idea. Russ

My new racecar project (Icemans old shell)

Hopefully will start to resemble a car shortly. Been trial fitting my fibreglass bonnet and boot this weekend, just waiting on my aerocatches arriving, all 3 sets! Next job is to get all the running gear bolted back on. Russ

anybody interested in clio 172 fully adjustable wishbones,

For castor if you adjust just one of the tie rods it'll move the ball joint and hence the hub position. Russ

    Fitting fibreglass boot

Thanks bigash, looked on toast frenzy's project thread and that's how he's done it. Just finishing mine now but its all drilled and mounted including the spoiler and boot handle. Just waiting on my aerocatches for the bottom now. Russ

    Fitting fibreglass boot

Thanks guys, fixing through the spoiler is something I wanted to avoid, aerocatches as per the first picture is a given. Tony thanks mate will pm them, I've text Hal for advice but no response. Russ

    Fitting fibreglass boot

People that have a fibreglass on a tailgate on a 172/182 how have they fitted it? I have one of Hals off here and I expected it to come with the original top hinge mounts in place and I would just use aerocatches on the bottom but there is nothing on the top. Have others modified the top so its...

My new racecar project (Icemans old shell)

Been mostly trying to get the engine bay sorted and painted. Strut top plates cut out and welded on. Also filled all the holes in the bulkhead and anywhere else i saw fit. Whole engine bay was then rubbed down and primed, given a couple of coats of Glacier White and then a couple of coats of...
