Guessing this has been covered before but I believe R-Sport doesn't exist anymore or at least doesn't supply parts for the cup race cars, so who does? Need a few bits, do they need to come from France now? Anyone got a contact number or email that'll help me out?

So after buying a tidy 172 cup to prep to race i saw Icemans caged shell for sale and decided to save my self some time and work and buy it instead of doing all the hard graft on my shell. Picked it up on saturday and after swapping all my running gear onto it in record time in Marks garage it...
Thanks again for the comments guys, its very rare I actually finish a project so its good to know its appreciated. Thanks for the pic piers you'll have to take some more when it gets out this year. Currently sitting tucked up in the garage on the battery charger until spring.

Er, probably x10 times what i paid for the car originally and thats not me exagerating, far more than i'd ever get back selling it etc but seen as i'll never sell it doesn't matter. I have receipts for circa £6k without labour as all the work apart from the paint was done by me.
Very easy...
Cheers for the comments guys. I'm not much of a lens-man but i do have access to a couple of DSLR's so should really get my finger out and get some decent pics. See below for some when i've been out and about in it.
First pic is from last time i was out with the local cliosport boys on a run...
Bought this over 2 years ago as a tatty standard example of a Series 1 106 Rallye, i'd looked for 1 for a while and have previously had a standard white S1 106 Rallye as well as Red, white and black 306 Rallyes and a Gti-6 among others. Being a black S1 and non sunroof means its pretty rare...
Looks cool mate, be interesting to see how it handles on the coilovers at that height, think its probably a bit low for a max attack run out up hartside etc. function over form on a road car for me, your yellow one was perfect on roads around here.

Nice results, is it a manual or auto? Be interesting to see how much better on fuel it is. Keep debating whether to have my 335d mapped or not, be nice for it to be better on fuel if nothing else.

Ideal mate, do like the 135 coupes, our 120d coupe is great so with another 130+bhp it'll be brilliant fun. Waiting on my mate bringing the new M135i demo home from Lloyds as i really fancy a run in it, such a lot of car for £29,995.

Was a great day up until the Rallye decided it didn't want to hold its water anymore! Pretty sure theres a hole in the rad, guessing it was a stone thats gone through it, will know more when i get it in bits. Hope you guys had a good run out, my mate Craig (with the R32) seemed to enjoy himself...
Cool, posted on the 106 Rallye Register, see if anyone else is interested. Would be nice to have a run up or down the other side of hartside, melmerby side, its a much better/twistier road that way than the other side to Alston.

Is it a 16v mate? Remember this car being for a sale a little while back, remember the front bumper ducts above anything. Bit different to my S1 Rallye, should really start a thread for mine now its done. Great little cars.

Ok Piers 11th it is, Mark is away in Dublin that weekend. More chance of winning the lottery than him lending me the s/c 106 too which is a shame. I'll speak to my mate with the FRS and also my mate with a s/c Fiesta ST see if they're up for it. Gonna bring my slr this time too, get some decent...
Piers, yeah i'll try and convince Mark to bring his blue 106 out, doubt he will but he might bring the white Rallye. Mine should be about 140bhp but is very low geared and circa 800kg so goes very well.
