Depends how much you want video. If you really want it, get a video camera, not a stills camera that can do video, otherwise get a better stills camera.
Yes, but then you have to go around shooting at f2.8 all the time, which isnt really practical.
I upgraded my body which is much better at higher ISO and it much more effective than getting faster lenses (which are not cheap either)
14 euro delivery!!
I got mine from here:

Your low light performance is down to the body. You can get faster lenses (ie ones that go down to f2.8 or less) but that wont solve the problem.
I know very little about Canon lenses so I cant really help you that much, but is looking into a newer body out of the question?
Thanks
That was still in Paris, i'll be out on Cheltenham this week :)
No ND in Paris as I didnt pack one :(
Just the smallest aperture I could use, it was a sunny day as you can see, so I couldnt get a very low shutter speed.
Even when the ESP is on, I think I'm right in saying it's only active when it flashes on on the dash.
I leave it on because I never notice a difference on the road, on the track is another story though.
lol! Yeh a bit ;)
Another shot, I think this is just too busy. I tried to get that shot capturing peoples movement, but as I had no tripod I had to find things to put the camera on :(
Not entirely happy, but I'll be out in Cheltenham this week for some better shots :)
lol thanks.
I had to be a bit stealthy for that shot, as I only had my 24-70, so it's not got that much reach on it, so I had to get quite close. I'm sure the women heard to shutter and started to turn round, but I walked off as soon as I get the shutter!
I had a quick business trip to Paris yesterday, luckily for me I was finished at lunchtime and my return flight was at 9pm.
As I had my camera with me I spent the day wondering Paris :)
Most of them are snapshot style photos, I still need to build up a bit more confidence...
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
This mod is gonna be very tempting for me next year if all goes to plan.
What else did you do to the car exactly to cope with the charger? I can imagine some of the stock components get a bit stressed with that extra power!
