Well I can only assume they can, don't quote me on it!
But the car park cameras definitely can. When I go to Heathrow they print the reg of the car on the back of the ticket, and it's never been wrong.
I wouldn't worry.
I've been in multiple car parks with number-plate recognition cameras and they read my 3/4 plate fine, so I can only assume that their cameras can too.
Back in the UK, but back out tomorrow bright and early to Saudi for five days. And then off to Tanzania for a few days after that.
No rest for the wicked lol!
Update with more: (if a mod could join this post onto the end of the first that would be great as I can't edit it :))

lol, Im trying! I will wait for KTEC to get out of Autosport mode, then I need to find a time when Im in the country long enough, which is quite hard at the moment! :(
Lauren: lol, no problem. If you want I can update my wallpaper thread. It's only got cars in it at the moment, but I can add some others if you want :)
Which ones would you prefer?
Im glad you said that.
All of the photos in the mosque were shot at about ISO800-1000, all handheld.
The level of noise, or lack of I should say, is incredible. The D3 might cost a lot, but I have absolutely no regrets buying it, as my D200 couldn't hold a candle to it in situations like that.
If you want some photos, I might be able to do some depending on time/location. If planetx reads this thread, we MIGHT be able to get an airfield for the day if he can sort that out. No promises though.
I've not long been back from a business trip to the UAE. Good timing really, as I was getting sick of the chaos this snow is causing - so it's a bit warmer over there! ;)
I was there for 4 days, the first few I couldnt really go out much due to work, but I managed to get a few snaps around Abu...
Re: Ben_stevo172 - Supercharged Monaco 172
I was thinking the same, but the more I looked into TBs, they seem quite expensive for the gains.
I would happily spend a bit extra for something like a SC or turbo.
Do it Dave, we can both be idiots! :rasp:
Indeed it is very tempting, Im probably doing it myself.
Just be weary of what people say about doing it, people do it for different reasons and are in completely different situations.
And at the end of the day, people only shed their OPINIONS, doesn't mean they are right or wrong.
Tip: If you're driving to a trackday, allow for quite some time between you arriving and actually getting on track. After 3hrs to Bedford, we got there just in time for briefing, more driving was the last thing I wanted to do as my ass was ruined lol!
PS. If you're ever in the area and fancy a...
Inspiring photography...say no more.
I'd love to try that for a trip though, I'm sure it can be pretty fun (and not at the same time :()
They hiring? ;)
Yeh I should have said they can be a bit uncomfy on long journeys, but tbh what bucket seat isn't?!
They are incredibly comfortable on shorter journeys though :)
If your regularly doing that sort of journey, then don't bother with buckets...simple.
I say it's a bit uncomfortable, but I'm sure that's nothing a cushion couldn't fix ;)
I have Futuras too, and travel to Heathrow quite a lot, it's about a 2hr journey. It does get quite uncomfortable towards the end, but I don't care really. Awesome for the price :)
