Depends how far you push it say 110 or so, A intercolled and 80 injectors mena you have for all intents and purpose a 80dci engine so see what the mappers get out of them.
onlt real difference is different wastegate (0.1bar more) and different gearbox
WOn't loose the map but yes new injecotrs should be coded.
and yep after the new injecotr might need a remap as you'll be pumping about 15% extra fuel in so timing etc might need adjusting,
Can often happen this is your cars worth say £2k to write off they sell the car to someone for £1.5k and to fix it was going to be say £1k. Then they keep the rest of your premium and make a decient profit.
Ask about buying back though
80 and 100 are the same injectors realy just run higher pump pressure
THis stage xxx is a load of rubish just made to make things sound simple.
SOunds like he was just after £100 extra sure he might have an off the shelf map with more hp but if you enigne could handle it and you were aware of...
Once you do it and have the cuts to prove it its easy to do again and again and you'll have truely accomplished somethign so well worth a bit more effort (easier for me to say than you to do though)
Yep new clio will be due soon which will hammer prices etc
Plus with fuel prices and tax etc unfortuantly hot hatches are getting more expensive to run hence less market hence lower prices (IMO)
Thats efficiency for you. Check the thermo plugs are working though or go for a short drive see if it gets better. The Coras diesel Ive got now never gets warm but it never gets driven realy.
ecu most likly did log an error just need to get it cleared need to check to see if theres anything else wrong though.
20 mins with no battery won't clear all faults though
Sorry for not seeing this thread or replying.
I'd get the battery checked first off never mind jump starting if the batterys draining all the power as its complety dead there no point bothering. Might be worth trying to charge in but if its that dead in power its probaly finished.
check the...
Sounds like the locks not getting power or a damaged loom etc.
Easy check is remove the door pael and check if theres any power to the lock. if there isn't you need to sort that if there is power then swop the motors round see if you can run the drivers side lock and vice versa.
