    Go tyo another garage explain the issue they maybe able to explain it or check. Some cars brakes do squeek if there hard race pads or not instralled right or just a bit funny often copper greese etc fixes it.

    The internals of the engine for the 65 and 80 are the same. could push the turbo furthere for more boost but its not going to take much more effficiently if you want a reasonable amount of useful extra boost (after all 2 bar means nothing if the airs hot and the turbines restricting flow.

    Sounds like the aux belt might need changing /checking its not working and not charging your battery and possibly not powering the rack which could have damaged it. Fix that first but the rack sounds like the tie rod ends etc might be worn. The leaking pipe needs fixing at the same time that...

    The light your on about is the imobiliser light, try your other key see if the key is the issue.

    How reliable is the range left on the trip computer?

    On the phase 1's the filters are external, on the phase 2's bar a few early 172's they are all in the tank. Filter is the same as fitted to an Audi RS6 from memory on the phase 1 172's

    You can swop the engine and keeep stock brakes etc but idealy need to swop everything if you do that might as well buy the faster car easier on insurance often There is tuff you can do with the engine but gains are small unless you spend a but a remap won't get that sort of power gains though...

    Bigger injecotrs beyond 80 are more difficult to do since there arn't any hence why most people just max them out with a big turbo vs bigger injecotrs which the standard turbo could make the same power with.

    Is this a real 60 mm or what they calimed I'm guessing its springs only. You don't need spacers though for standard wheels being lowered.

    CES sells them cheap to trade. I think I paid £6 or so a side for mine. Eurocar parts isn't cheap for them they want something like £25/30 a side. Easy enough to replace just need to do the tracking after.

    have a look on moneysavving expert there a guide takes some time but is good. Try to limit your milage and let other older preferably females drive the car but removing people can sometimes make it cheaper so you need to mess about.

    I don't see what the lads did wrong realy. Or is that just me? Sounds to me like the vandal got some sort of justice maybe they were a bit hard but Im sure we would have been calm and collected if you caught someone spray painting your car and would have pointed out to the guy its Ok will not...
