Dunno really mate, just play it by ear. As your heating it (10 cm away for example) just wobble the letters, they will get looser as your doing it and you can just get the card/floss in behind and ease them off. You will be fine, never seen someone mess it up yet. I suppose theres always a...
Nah dont worry mate, just take your time and make sure each bit is heated enough so the glue is soft and it will come off fine. The just wipe down with tardis etc like said above. should only take about 10 mins. Also, ebay is the cheapest ive seen for the grille.
Theres 2 on the back so u could buy another 2 :) also, i would definetly suggest heating the letters up on the boot with a heat gun/hairdryer before you try pry them off, will make it much easier and leaves less mess :)

Yes mate, very much like how much effort youve put into it :) You going CSS? :)
Isnt 14 psi=1 bar? Actually i think it is 0.9something but im rounding up :) So did you get yours done at RS tuning in the end or did you buy a rs tuner and do it yourself? Also if you dont mind, can you tell me how much you spent approximately? Pm me if its better? Thanks bud!
Youve got yourself a mini sleeper ;) Im pretty sure the standard boost is 0.5Bar on the tce. Find it more impracticall to drive in winter with the extra torque?
Again it depends on where you go. I think ive seen stuff between 35-50 per wheel? Plus you can choose what colour you want. Then you will have pristine wheels in the colour you want :) Everyones a winner. And they could probs fit your tyres for you :)
Yeah the 16's would just fit straight on mate, look much better than the 15's as the arches are so big. 150 per wheel! Are you buying new? You would be better buying from ebay/here/breakage yard and just have a refurb? Like i said, a lad on here will be selling a set soon which are in quite...
Prefer the canastas tbh mate. If i were you, i would just save till you have enough money then buy a set of canastas inc. tyres, possibly 2nd hand. Swap them over, clean up your 15's and sell them one by one on ebay and you will easily make 150-200 back. Or.....use your 15's until your tyres...
Seriously your best bet would be to look in the for sale section of the forum and find them there. There is always turinis and F1's cropping up, nearly every day lol. 2118's might be a bit harder to find and only come in 15's iirc so would look too small for the mk3 and ultraleggeras are...
Yeah gonna look into the re-circ valve, means i will loose my fun turbo flutter sound :( Ah cool, tbh, i would really happy with another 20bhp and bunch of torque. Did u notice a big difference when u did it? Would personally like to see more in 2nd and 3rd. Also, nah, im 23......dont fancy...
Its weird, I actually had a decat on when i bought the car with a ktr dump valve. Hated both noises lol so just plugged where i had the dump valve and had a cat added. So now ive basically got a straight through pipe from cat back (think powerflow but not sure, previous owner had it done). I...
Thanks very much mate, really appreciate it :)
Hmm, can honestly say something ive not really looked into. Im not particularly mechanically minded so not sure where i would start if i was to take on something like that? When you say 172 injectors, would that be with the rails included and...
Yeah Chip is right, i wouldnt personally bother messing around too much trying to make them fit, but if you have your heart set on them then you can always try. My other point would be, if you dont lower it, it might look a bit weird with 17's on. I know the mk3 has big arches but without some...
Also, to get 197 wheels u will need hub adaptors as they wont fit your car straight off mate. You could get turinis though, people always selling them on here in the for sale section. Quite a lot of people have them though
