Haha yeah that was a second property owned by my landlady which she sold a few months ago, a shame as I lost the parking space otherwise I'd have the Clio there.

The Mk4 is a completely different car, in many ways to the older generation Clios. It's gone turbo, result, easier power gains and pound for pound against N/A much cheaper.

No probs, all I said to them was there was an upgrade to the software to which they confirmed. As its not a fault or recall I had to pay which was fine by me.
I was told there was a definite upgrade so I spoke to the service department when I was there ordering the RS mats. Yep booked a convenient appointment there and then.
The only thing I can see being slightly wearing is having to do the belts every time you get in and out. Other than that it will be absolutely fine as a daily, I imagine the OP has driven and owned an array of cars in varying states of tune over the years and would be used to slightly stiffer...
