But when you consider the age of the cars, if they were brand new...then I'd expect to be pissed with issues/problems...for a car which is 7+ years old, you can't really grumble.
Plus 2½ year :bump:
Under the car is a black piece of metal that when you move the gearstick, it pushes the gearbox into selecting the relevant gear. I dont know much about them...but sound like that is your issue...if getting car into gear is a problem (ie not as should be)
The Home Office used to take their old HDDs to Rolls Royce in Crewe and drop them into acid bath. You cant remove data by erasing, but you can overwrite with something like Zero fill which writes '0's all over the HDD. The recognised standard for secure data wipe is 6 passes in our place...
No issue mate, its just that its unfair on people who come all the time or most of the time from areas which dont tend to get covered (Worcestershire for one) so we are trying to get our area covered more. The problem which has been apparent in ALL areas is that 'Billybob' will say "have a meet...
Ant...Mike is always at the meets we've been doing and he is coming all the way from Stoke EVERY meet...so what we do is those that come can have ab inout on the next meet. You need to be there to have a say on next meet so its fair and we are moving it around to encompass all areas, not just...
A) Sunday 14th October
B) Saturday 27th October (with Clio16v)
LIST:
Mharvey - Sunday 14th October (best for me due to work on Saturday's but can do either)
Don - Either
Chris (AUTOCRASH) on here as well as Si (SprayShack) both do paintwork, so you could buy a Spoiler and get it colour matched to your car...or (if Chris has any in stock), get one straight from him.
Re: Drag Racing at Shakesphere
Wondered who you were talking to then...Just realised its your reply...
Might use my cycling helmet!! ;)
(All this and I don't even know if I'm going to be running yet!)
Re: Drag Racing at Shakesphere
Any certifications for use on strip or track that I need to be aware of? #Novice
Its not as big an issue in the car on the ¼ mile...as you are not running some kind of jet powered beast...
Artic and Mondial do look similar...but I think that you will be able to tell the difference if you had a part on your car in a different colour. You can get them colour coded should you not be able to 'live' with the colour difference should you decide to purchase. :)
I would change battery in key fob in first instance. Do you have to move the key around to get it to activate?
Is the button sticking (so effectively registering the press twice?)
That was last meet Piers. Mike (stokie4ker) is selecting the place for next meet. He is in Stoke, but will have a look for somewhere for us all to meet. The only reason it still states Solihull is because until Mike gives me or Matt details, we cant update Calendar to reflect this. Will pm him...
I know its a trek but City Powdercoaters in Birmingham...£20 a wheel.
www.citypowdercoaters.co.uk (fair few threads here if you search for city powdercoaters).
There isnt that much difference performance wise in comparison to a 1.2 - 2.0 conversion. I'm not sure if the rears would need to be upgraded to discs...but when you factor in the costs of doing it and the insurance increase, I wouldnt say its worth it to be fair (sorry to say).
For drivers, go to dell.co.uk select drivers and go to the model of your laptop and the operating system youbare going to install. Also...upgrade the BIOS while you are at it. (but you need device plugged into mains to do that and DON'T turn device off while it is doing that).
Store drivers on...
Dvla dont necessarily get the car right. My old 306 was a 1.6...imported from Germany (but purchased there as a UK spec car by member of forces based over there). Dvla had it down as 1.4 but to make sure I was covered, I registered it with DVLA as 1.6 (meant more in tax, but didnt want write off...
