Should have my own RB very shortly....
You mind me asking why? Curiosity more than anything.
If it's helpful the immobiliser light never went out, albeit I didn't try what you suggested at the time.
This is my brother's old car. My Dad spotted it in Glasgow last week.
Just been trying to track it down to see if I could buy it back. If you've changed your mind on the purchase and are interested in selling it drop me a PM.
yeah im 32 you in 14? i got it banned for being illegally parked, its a load of s**t! cheers for the note aswell when i seen it i thought it was a ticket was well relived to find out it wasnt lol
Couldn't seem to remember exactly which way round this should be. If you were to specify the trendlines as a factory option on a FF 182 would you still get the normal alcantara/leather rear bench or a cup/extreme bench? Any help would be appreciated.
Good mate, working at Pug now instead of Renault. Do you work around there then because I thought I saw you in Sainsburys across the road a few weeks ago?
I'd ring Renault and ask but being an ex employee I know that my dog would know more about what it could be and he would be better at making up an excuse to do 20hrs worth of diagnostic work.
My info is coming from the 1st Jan 2004 Price Guide and it is listed under the 172 Cup and 182 as an 'Optimum Gear Change Indicator' but I really couldn't care what it's called it doesn't really change what it does.
The problem in all truth hasn't happened since starting this thread, so I'm...
I would also like to point out that 'over rev light' is also wrong cat 171. If you get your Renault spec sheet or price guide out it is actually an 'Optimum Gear Change Indicator'. I think Shift Light is closer to the mark. ;-)
Any useful suggestions as to what could be causing the problem...
Thanks for the bashing about over revving people but it is flickering at as little as 2k revs, no wheelspin, no moronic driving, just accelerating normally.
As for the 'shift light' comment who really cares what you call it, you all understood what I was refering to.
Thanks Sam Clio16v...
