    182 Fake Racing/ Track car

On the subject of Pads, Ive run ds1.11 on an R26R/Meglio, and now my R26. I always bedded them in, excellent stopping power hot or cold, never squealed. I now use Winmax w5, perhaps a bit more progressive, but also after bedding in, fantastic stopping power hot or cold. One thing I have learnt...

GREAT NEWS! The Dacia Sandero had a new track day(ish) event!

Hi Caio, welcome, car looks brilliant. Your English is just fine. I live in Scotland, my nearest track is around 4 hours away. I go to Spa in Belgium, and that is 1200 miles one way. I am an old man, but love my track days.

    200 Cup brake pad options.

I run a road/ track R26, have tried most pads over the years. For me Winmax W5 or DS1.11. The winmax have less brake dust, and seem to last longer, stops well from cold/hot, never faded on track, just remember, get on the brakes, get off them, don't linger.

If you can't get one, you could try glueing, then putting a zip tie around as well.

"Upgraded" to Airpods Gen 3 from Gen1..

Why stick with Apple?. With my iPhone, I use Sony wf xm3, and 4, Nuraloop, and a few others, OR, go the whole hog, lightening adaptor to a dap, or a Bluetooth dap, and wired earbuds of choice.I use Shure ie900. It obviously depends what your intended use is, and the quality of music you require...

    Recommend me some Headphones

Over the years I have had very expensive over ear headphones, now all sold, and now using Nova phone/loop/earbuds, and Sony xm3 buds. Tried the XM4, and for me, not worth changing from the XM3. Nova give very good depth and width of soundstage, and the earbuds have more than enough volume, even...

    Water coming into car

I would take the door panel off, remove/reseal speaker/cover door motor/check drain holes under door/ all the usual really. There is a small gap outside, in the corner, between doorframe and glass, which I used a small bit of black mastic.( Tesco catchphrase here!.)

    The new TV thread

I run a 75in LG, which I calibrated a couple go years ago, giving a really good picture. Personally, I think the bigger the TV the better, and once you have got used to it, you will not like going back to a smaller TV. I am also curious why people hang them above the fireplace, then get a stiff...

Track Tyres - Feedback and Recommendations

As an old mans perspective,( 81 years old.) I run a R26 360 bhp. The car is quicker than my ability. In a year I will do Oulton/Anglesey/Cadwell/Spa etc.,and I have been criticised for pulling over, and letting people past, BUT, I am happy to go at a pace I am happy with, and drive the car home...
