Tried it out today on the newly acquired daily. Not worth showing pics of the result, will wait until I’ve used it on the 182 for that. I used it though an Autobrite Trigger bottle for more of a mist on the panel, proper 500gsm buffing towel to apply and another to buff. Wasn’t bad to apply...

I’ve heard that, apparently because it doesn’t contain silicone like some other products, but that also works in its favour for durability. I’ve always used two cloths for application and buffing anyway so hopefully should be alright! I think like most products it’s using them in the right way...

One of Autobrite's with their chemical resistant trigger, but there are plenty of similar ones about, I just have some of these lying around. I have a few of them for various products that I either buy in bulk or dilute. Great bottles, and great for this because you can alter the spray pattern...

I had the same issue when fitting mine. As mentioned above I just elongated some of the holes, and drilled new holes where necessary. My driver's seat is still slightly off centre but nothing major, they aren't bang on central as standard, just you have the room to budge over in the standard seats.

As James says, we were chasing the same thing on mine. Found that the rear right subframe bolt could be tightened up a turn or so, also just about squeezed a spanner in to get to the nut on the other side to stop it spinning and make sure it was tight. Knock has disappeared, much more pleasant...

Mine are Magneti Marelli IWP043’s, from a PMS ITB kit originally. So they’re not actually 197 ones, but are 330cc like 197 ones, I believe the 197 ones have like a long nossle on them?

This Gyeon Trim has held up very well so far, still as clear as the day I did them 6 months ago. Not bad for a simple application! £2500 including mapping. Could be worse considering £330 of that was the valves. Seems like a lot for the “gain” but this build was more to refresh and bulletproof...

Mine has 197 pistons, in 182 block and 182 head, with 197 cams like Chris mentioned. Mine’s using the three prong spark plugs, not sure I’m right in saying, but I think because they’re cooler because it’s now high comp with the pistons. @bloke built mine so I’m sure he can give you more insight.

Major dedication on this Mark! Wasn't exactly shabby as it was. On the wiper blank, you're better off with one of the new Kill All Wipers flush kits, very neat. Guy who runs it is close to me, going to go and see him and get one for mine once I have the car back.

I know yeah, was being suspiciously reliable before it... I’m hoping the tail end of this month all being well, maybe start of August but if so I’ll only be able to drive it towards the end of August being away for most of the beginning of the month. So fingers crossed for the end of this month.
