Aye onwards and upwards!
That DC2 is a K20 swap one, was just getting away on the straights, in the bends it was pretty even! No doubt really well driven it'd be quicker though of course anyway with the diff etc.
Next up was a brake refresh ahead of track. The DS2500s in the front had seen a year of abuse on road and track, had lost their effect really, and of course the disks were looking a little tired and a few heat stress marks/cracks showing, and of course it's just good practise to use new disks...
Next job was replacing the OS headlight. The adjusters had broken in mine, as well as having some dirt on the inside making it look slightly murkier than perfect. I'd bought @JB21's old ones from his 182 the month before, and the driver's one was perfect, so on that went. You can see the extra...
It's been a while! Big update time. Some sunday night reading for those who can be arsed. Or skip to the end of this for the death of my engine.
Rear wiper deleted
Passenger door replaced
Rear seats removed, tailored boot mat in
Recaro Pole Positions (Recaro side mounts, Recaro sliders, Jon...
Not sure why the Ktec is louder, but it definitely is. Pipe looks to have less sharp angles in the bends from what I can see, and a lightly bigger bore all the way through.
I was going to go Fatty, but managed to pick my Ktec up second hand 6 months old on eBay for £50, bargain!
I have a Milltek non-res myself, bought second hand. Sounds awesome. No complaints with the quality of it either, mine's an older version and everything is still in tact, no cracks etc.
PMS ones are a top quality product though, get mounts with it too. My only complaint about them are the tips...
ET25 is fine for the front, but would be silly and probably poke a little bit on the rear. Too wide on the rear and it induces some understeer too I noticed when I tried spacers on the rear.
Plate read Clio something, like CL10 something, roof bars too for proper Ski Holiday spec. Parked round the corner from Autobrite, I was going buying some cleaning stuff from there.
As above @JB21, and then we used the rubber caps from my bleed nipples on the end of the lines, stopped it leaking. We did have a significant amount of air in the system when it was back together though, still don't fully know why, took a lot of bleeding.

As per the other thread, with DS2500 fronts and standard Brembo rears my fronts pulled 320kg each and 160kg each on the rear at my last MOT. Quite significant if you ask me, plus those standard rears will start to fade and become less effective with heat on track.
Telling you, forum chinese...
Just that kit yeah, my pistons were okay so just gave them a clean up and cleaned the bores too. Might be worth replacing pistons for the price but it's not really neccessary unless they're knackered.
Coming together slowly but surely! Lots more planned for next year, should be looking and driving even better by the time summer arrives. That’s the plan anyway.
Much less boomy with the rear seats in place. Mine is quite boomy when the engine is under slight load on cruise going uphill etc, but fine at certain speeds on the flat. I didn't make mine to be a Grand Tourer anyway, so it's irrelevant for me.
However, sounds epic when you're on it.
Haha pretty much. It’s that classic situation like how Barbers always have a s**t haircut, Photographers never have any photos of their own stuff lol!
Yeah really glad I stuck with the OEM colour scheme with the Anthracite, the colour of them is much nicer than the standard colour without being...
