Cheers! I prefer the grey ones personally, then again I am the guy who prefers the standard RS badges too so haha.
Cheers  On the power front, will probably be going for some 197 cams, ported inlets etc next year, should hopefully see mid 190s and 170ft-lbs then, heard good things from...
Cheers mate! Definitely agree, plus the finish of these wheels with all the flake in the paint as you can see in the photos is amazing, look stunning when clean, so glossy.
Yeah sunstrip is perfect, we will see what it’s like once the buckets are in but I think it should still be the right size...
It's been a while! Many updates since the last one.
New updates are:
Whiteline Rear Anti-roll bar
LED side lights
Bumper quick release catches
Bumper splash guard/undertray added
Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2s
Yokohama AD08Rs
Pure Motorsport Stud Conversion
Pure Motorsport 15mm hub centric front...
Also worth noting. Make sure you're 100% on the spring rate before you order. The valving is done to match the spring rates and so you can't change the springs if you decide you want stiffer without changing the valving.
Definitely go BC Mounts. Can't see a reason why not, same as the AST and KAM ones. Only £66 as an option too.
Here's mine when they were first fitted (ignore where they are camber/caster wise, since been changed).

Can't comment on the Gaz ones.
I bought the BCs (DR version, digressive valves for better ride and performance) because of my fast road/track setup. B14s were too soft for my needs and aren't damping adjustable (adjustability a big point of coilovers in the first place), and then I could still...
Pressures too as people have said above.
Had some new AD08Rs on mine the other week, and at first I was getting a bit of understeer, went and checked pressures and they were at 38psi. Put them down to factory spec and the understeer disappeared.
Haha!
It was me two weeks ago as well, although the AA guy said mine was too low to get on the thing to be towed by the van (probably lying to save himself the job) so it was another wait for a bloody truck lol.
Biggest difference of my mods (including coilovers) was the Whiteline RARB. It's transformed the handling on the limit, when it'd normally be understeering the car now digs in and the rear starts to rotate even when on the throttle. Next to no understeer, it's hilarious!
Really from the information you gave about the saving you actually make, stop-start is utterly pointless for the consumer. But nonetheless it's pretty inoffensive so I wouldn't care if my car had it.
Going to be stiff that then, then again might not be too bad when they're set to soft. But I can't comment on how soft ASTs are on the road damping wise.
I don't know exactly because I haven't timed as such, at a guess I'd say 2/3 seconds, too many variables from last time though, but it felt a million miles better. If not for times it's just more fun, way more confidence in it because it feels more planted and stuff. Really does depend if you...
I use the Elf Evolution 900 SXR 5W-40 (the standard oil for the car), as said above it's actually quite cheap.
As for box oil, there is the standard Elf NFJ 75W-80. You can use the Redline stuff if you do a lot of track work etc or don't want to change it as frequently.
Yep! 30 settings. This time on track I just ran them on full hard because the surface is smooth and I'm running R888s so you can run it harder, in retrospect I should maybe have played around a bit more but the car felt great like that and I was too busy enjoying it to come in and start changing...
Cheers mate! I'm actually in Leeds as we speak haha. Definitely have to get photos of the two together.
Yeah I've been thinking that for a while, but I don't want full on LED because they can look a bit chavtastic, want something quite dim and discreet, nothing blue, something the same colour...
Nurburgring just seems like a major ball ache. A simple mechanical failure can land you with a huge debt.
I'll go one day and do one lap to get a photo on the Carousell then f**k off and get a beer and watch everyone else.
