Hi,
Been searching for the past half an hour about this as my Haynes manual is s**t.
Anyone got an idiots guide on how to clean the throttle body on a 1.2 16v engine? A lot of people have said its really easy to do and mine really needs to be done, but I'm no good unless following step by...
Re: Good Drying Towles......
No matter how much I tell her not to, my Mum still washes my towels/microfibres with softener n'all.
I use the Uber Blue drying towel from I4D or CYC. Admittedly I do have to use a couple to dry the whole car but they aren't bad for the price. I bought a few off...
This. You'll look like a right bellend. A Clio isn't the most manlyist car in the world but a damn sight better than something like that.
My mate's Clio is a 52 plate and on over 100,000 miles and its still running sweet as a nut.
Cheers Mick. Is it as difficult as it sounds?
If that doesn't cure it, it'll probably be coming down to see you. The garage I'm using are normally very good but they don't seem to have a clue what they're doing. And they got oil all over my RS Mats, the b******s!
Everytime there's a thread like this, someone always opens the can of worms with the insurance. You really do need to look at insurance before cars IMO.
I passed my test over a year and a half ago and it took me about 3 months of searching to find the car I have today. Yes it's only a 2001 1.2...
Hi,
Firstly I've got a 51 plate, 1.2 Clio Dynamique and this problem has been happening for a while now.
When idling, the idle on my car can only be described as erratic. It happens when it starts up and then seems to settle but as soon as the throttle is touched, it'll start idling stupidly...
I'll still give messing around with the setting a go the next time I come to use it.
Whilst on the subject of protection (LOL), I'm unsure of the amount of layers of Jett I've actually got on. When would you strip it all back and start again? Every 6 months or so?
That's a good point actually. Lost count of the number of layers of Werkstat Jett I've got on the car now. Normally stick on a couple of layers everytime I give the car a wash.
