Just unplug the abs harness under the car located within the front passanger a-frame. Don't listen to all the hype of "you'll die if you pull the abs" yeah its not ideal on the road but works great on track. I'm gonna plum in a bias valve eventually like above.
Here's mine with 50/50 bias on...
Yeah you want them to move a little mate as they expand when hot, stops them from sticking in the carrier as well. As above the only time i noticed them moving was when reversing and braking the first time then like wise when going forward .
Presume the car is a track car? If not they are a...
I had them coupled with MTEC dimpled/grooved discs which get slated and it was great. Don't get me wrong they don't have the clamp of race pads but they bite well and didn't fade for me being aggressive. Remember i had no ABS and 50/50 bias though, but they felt much better than OE Brembos, HC...
Ok so just thought I'd give my view on these for the money....brilliant! Yeah I burnt through the set in a day but for £20 who gives a sh!t. They didn't fade all day with some serious abuse. I wouldn't use anything else for the road TBH as it just seems a total waste of money buying pads at 6-7...
I've recently changed my box oil as it was crunching into 3rd and its made a difference. The crunch is still there but has reduced substantially, before I'd need to wait a good second before changing up so it wouldn't crunch but now i only need to wait a fraction. My oil was also coke coloured...
Yeah, as above if driving exactly the same style as before the map then yeah you will see better MPG, this is due to the fact the fuel/air tables et al are manipulated so when on part open throttle it used less fuel (something to do with AFR's & LTFT's tables being changed at certain parameters...
CBA reading the whole thread but I have a fatty kit and it sounds epic, love the sound of an n/a with metal intake, they resonate. So much nicer sounding than TC cars IMO. My old ep3 with AEM RSX CAI was epic.
Yeah heard good things about the 1155's and they are considerably cheaper than the DS2500 & CL5+, £89 on eBay.

I've got a spare set of Mintex OE mate and its only 6 x 20 minute sessions, plus I'm letting my pal do a few sessions and he's a total novice so he wont be to hard on the brakes like me so should be ok. There's an ECP around the corner as well if all fails...
I know mate, was like that at Oulton last month as I only lasted half a day with the Brembo's which ruined my day a little. The plan was to get my 4 pots working but that didn't happen either as they were seized. In hindsight I wish I didn't both with the ABS sensor now and just purchased the...
Just ordered a front set of these from Amazon for £20. My car came with them on when I purchased it back in Feb and they were great for road use, I replaced them for Oulton last month with Brembo OE which where pretty average on road and awful on track, they only lasted 100 miles (30 road & 70...
Right I have a plan for Aintree on Saturday. I'm gonna fit the worst/cheapest rear pads available (Eicher £7.50 from ECP) and some CL5+ up front, hopefully on sticky R888's this will reduce the rears locking up so easily under hard braking.
Again as stated above a live mapping session would be best, but for diesel engine's they are few and far between and you'll pay good money. Where are you based and what car and engine do you have?
As I said above the map uploaded to your car will compensate for other countries crap fuel, different air pressures, weather (hot & cold) so the parameters are wide and not focused to the UK's environment as a generic map from a tuner.
That's my next job mate, its hard to do on the car due to it being encased in a plastic cover. If that doesn't work than I'll pull the ABS ECU harness to check for damage. Does the ABS pump have earthing points that may have come lose?
