Update: fitted the OE brakes back on yesterday and after 30 minutes of some nice heavy braking from all different speeds the discs are looking much better, I've only got 50/50 bias at the minute so once I've fitted the new ABS sensor and the bias goes back to 90/10 or whatever it is they will...
Looking good, need some lowering springs for mine as its got the monster truck look now with 15" on, how's the handling compared to the OE cup springs?
@NCC-74656 I've got a set of Compbrake 4 pots coming of my car this week which I'll do you a good price on, they have new DS3000 pads, freshly skimmed discs and have just been fully rebuilt and cleaned and come with a spare set of internal seals for the next rebuild. They just bolt onto your car...
The discs attached. I reckon with a good few hundred miles with some hard braking getting them nice and hot with my part worn OE pads they should be OK to pair with a set of CL5+?
On my last track day I accidently burnt through my new pads down to the limit and then had to drive home, by the time I'd got home I noticed some lovely scoring (<1mm in parts) on my HC discs which were brand new (70 track/50 road miles). So do I bin or use them? I've got some part worn OE pads...
As above coupled with track tyres? Can get them from ECP for £92. Read they are close to DS2500's but with better cold bite and as they're £34 cheaper maybe a viable option?
Hi mate, the part is not online with EPC you will need to call your local branch for them to order in. Part No 417745750, make sure its an ATE part not Bosch and pull the duff sensor out first and take it with you on collection for reference.
OK so just been for diagnostics again (no charge) and took the car for a spin this time and the readings where in km/h so wheel speed as @bloke suggested and the NSR was reading crazy like 2000 km/h when doing 30, the rest where spot on. So it's defo a duff sensor. Also managed to source the...
Renaultparts Wolverhampton have them for £120. I've read that the ECP Bosch parts work for some not for others, can someone give a definitive answer whether the below will fit my 04 182 FF?
Thanks in advance...
Don't think it was wheel speed as it read whilst stationery with ignition on but engine off. Must have been resistance? Looking back now sure it was ohms.
Right, the car has just been hooked up to the diagnostics and in the live data within the abs system with the ignition on the nsf,osf & osr where reading 0.3 (not sure what measurement it was as I was in the passenger and it was sunny so couldn't see the lcd) the nsr was reading 0. The guy then...
Thanks mate. The lights come one with the ignition so hopefully it's just a sensor. I'll get it on a diagnostics reader and check for output on each sensor. It's had new rings on the rear and newish on the front which look fine. Being a cup they are only 8mm on the front so I've had to place...
Yeah first thing I tried was the fuse, no difference. Checked the harness to the abs pump as it's been changed recently and seems fine. I did find metal shards all over the front sensors after bedding in the 4 pots, maybe this has caused the issues, tried wiping them and spraying with contact...
Woke up to this now (see attached) no abs and braking bias now 50/50. Getting really sick of this car now. Having a read and could be an abs sensor but not sure this would give the lights I've got and disable the abs?
Woke up to this issue this morning. Car was used Wednesday with no lights and boom this morning I have the ABS, STOP & TC lights on, speedo is working so it's not the fuse. Thing is I have no ABS and my bias is now 50/50 which in dangerous. Checked all connections and can't see anything wrong.
Seems reasonable? £650 delivered or £999 fitted, I'd probably go with the latter TBH.

Renault OE rear discs here. Get some bought if the Brembos are corroded badly as I get no issues with mine and it sits for weeks at a time in heavy rain.
