    172s are awesome

They really are. I've found myself looking at any 1*2 recently...I'm drawn towards finding an original Trophy as it's the only one I've still yet to experience.

172 Cup v Fiesta ST at Llandow

You've never been caught in the wrong gear and been left behind by a diesel rep-mobile then? Happened to me many times in both my 172 Cup and 200.

172 Cup v Fiesta ST at Llandow

On track they're similar. On road the ST would romp away at every opportunity unless the 172 drove everywhere in 2nd gear at 5,000 rpm just in case.

    Matthew's VW Tiguan

That's the problem. They're really good, zero fade around Goodwood, barely any dust, and I'm just about to hit 27k miles on the set it left the factory with. That's what makes me want to stay standard.

    Matthew's VW Tiguan

Agreed. Far too over assisted. New pads for me soon so I may stray from standard and go for something with a little less cold bite.

172 Cup v Fiesta ST at Llandow

My Fiesta has a 7.5% increase in bhp. That 172 Cup had circa 22% increase in bhp. You're forgetting or ignoring that the ST comes with 200 bhp as standard. It's all irrelevant anyway, the only thing that really matters is not power mods, unrepeatable 0-60 sprint times or who was stronger on the...

Why You Should Always Iron-X A Brand New Car!

Nope. Big AMG V8, yes, makes sense. Little low revving charged two litre four-banger. No. It won't be long before 5inch tailpipes are the norm on Aygos if this carries on. Just no.

    crashed last night

Would have been braking surely as soon as the car came into view? Car avoided then even after speed has been lost from braking corner is not made. Do you really think the car in red exists?

    crashed last night

LOL CSI skill set not needed here. It's pretty obvious/common sense what happened.

    crashed last night

The curbing of the wheel came after the car reversing out of its drive. Having successfully and safely avoided them it's then promptly been binned at the next bend. Because...?

As above track insurance would have no benefit at all for that. As for why/how that happened... Anyone know?

Why not just run the 1.2 Dynamique long term? Keep the 182 for fun, keep the payments destined for the Focus in your bank?

Wind Deflectors, love 'em or hate 'em?

That has benefits if your line of sight is right through the 25mm deep tinted piece of plastic wedged into your door-frame I suppose. Personally I think they're hideous, all the more so when on FSTOC they deem them absolutely vital for modern motoring. Just LOL

Why do some waxes cost so much.

Why are people prepared to pay huge amounts of money when something costing one tenth of the price will do, for 99% of consumers, the exact same thing? My boss spent £1,000 on a pair of specs recently. My assistant questioned why she would spend that much money on something she only ever wore...

What about the King tag game mode thing. That's hilarious to play! You deal with it, it's not that much of a problem. The checkpoints have a marker going up into the sky so no matter how bad your vision is you know where you should be heading. It's quite a laugh charging blindly through a...
