Re: sonny172cup "track racer project" What a day... I am in my sleeping bag in the Range Rover as I type... Got to the circuit at 5pm, just in time for a torrential down pure.. Made putting up the gazebo fun. Fitted the T pull and wires in the transponder this evening so thats good to go...

Nice one, Did you have Ktec top mounts originally (not looked back through your thread). Ktec are looking at a strut brace to work with their top mounts, should be interesting.

I did wonder of you was putting headlights on, I put mine back on. So are these plans non stop all night then? Think I will have to dig out my ear defenders :/ Bit if rain should keep the MR2s at bay ;)

Steve says cars always drop out, i paid the fee but will get refund if i don't race... He seemed confident that I will. Will be a pain if I dont get on grid, as i have paid someone to cover my shift and hired the trailer already. We shall see

Haha a good mate of mine drifted out of the VW scene years ago and got himself a Civic, worst thing he did imo, his since seen the light and got himself into VAG Audi...he used to get the rippings a lot about the rice burner. Any updates from testing today, did any one drop out, hope I get on...

Re: sonny172cup "track racer project" Range Rover in garage... Seems to be fixed, needed a new superchager coolant pump... Warranty not paying out.. Shock! £280 poorer. Just checking my T pulls and one has become stuck, not seized but twisted, not sure how that happened... New one ordered...

Looking forward to this big time, my first race and first time at Donington apart from Monsters of Rock in 94 lol Would be good to be together for sure, might feel uncomfy with a bunch of rice burners.
