clearly.... i meant the first question that people normally ask when you say a car is Cat D is 'what was the damage?' if you know it was a wing, bumper and some suspension damage for example, you can tell them that.

yeah true... though it may help in selling it if he knows the damage?

the blow out might have been the initial cause, but i'd be wanting to know what had been damaged and what new parts were fitted to get it back on the road
