Holy s**t you're right. Just looked again.
Thats absolutely hilarious.
BRB just applying to be their marketing team, I have a wild idea for a marketing campaign :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
I didnt get to see it launch unfortunately other than the videos. But the videos tell you enough! Having actually been stood at that start line, you get a much better idea of scale. The way it does even the first 60ft is nuts. I'd love to see a Draggy time :ROFLMAO:
Just popping off to see my...
Brilliant day yesterday at FOS.
Always a great day but, regrettably, I did have an experience with some mongs after my previous posts - @MarkCup , you were right. Bit pissed, being a bit loud and obnoxious during the shootout kind of pissed me off. We were stood by T1 and they kept trying to...
I did have a debate about this the other day.
Basically there are smutterings its not good for whatever reason - whether that be age of the resin or damage to the machine.
I did it for a while and it worked fine but to me its just not worth risking with a spare hose ready to go. Ill have to...
I've used this and didn't rate it tbh!
Garage Therapy Decon wash is where its at. Don't get me wrong, even GT won't strip fresh protection but even something slightly wobbling and this stuff smashes it.
Warm water is a must. Foam first nice and strong. Then wash also with Decon and warm water...
Ill be there sunday!
In regards to the 'less favourable people' attending.
Ive been to the last 4 or so and not once spotted any oiks. Okay, sometimes you get people doing dumb s**t like rubbing their hands over the cars. But generally speaking, its awesome. I love it.
Never get free tickets...
exactly that mate.
Its to use for a 'final rinse' after youve washed the car. It basically removes the need to dry the car. Pure water = no hard spots.
For me, its especially important. My drive is unobstructed and south facing so in the summer its sun from 8am to 9pm. Its a nightmare when...
Yeaaah. I dunno its mixed reviews everywhere I look. Some say it's fine, others report issues with machines from it and ive also read the PW pulls water through it too fast which degrades the resin quickly.
Who f**king knows. I'll probably just stick with the extra expandy hose for final rinse...
When I did it properly, my 115 resin lasted a year. And I used it weekly! Just for final rinse but still.
I'm quite tempted to hook my 11L up to my PW again to go back to my previous set up. Knowing my luck it will f**k all my resin though 😂
Exactly that! I always found that s**t too.
I think, IIRC, you can get away with putting 10L in an 11L one. Wont be ideal but it will work and saves you paying the million quid for that last 1L
@JamesBryan
Im sure Leeds will reply on that one but ill jump in too.
I bought a 25L bag and it was absolutely w**k within 48 hours of being opened. I even taped it back up pretty securely but nope, it was a gonner. £85 down the drain.
Seriously, heed my advice - only buy what you need :)
Just standard wifi mate
I should have explained it a bit better.
The 5 and Kitchen 1 are within 10m of the router. The kitchen has only 1 small wall between it and the router. The 5 is right next to it. Thats why im confused as the 5 is the closest but its also the worst in terms of...
This is probably better put into google but im useless with reading the 'potential' fixes you get from google.
My Sonos speakers are fab, I love them. But, I keep getting weird issues with them.
I have a 'new' 1 in the kitchen, a 5 in the lounge and another older 1 in the back bedroom. I...
Thats alright!
Yeah, good plan otherwise youll burn through resin at some rate of knots. You can use the same hose if you want mate. But youll want to put a valved section in as pulling off a hose thats pressurised gets old really fast. Trust me.
Just make sure you rinse through the remaining...
Ah okay, fair enough. Theyre a bit weighty when full of water anyways. Alternatively, depending on how far, you could have one of those expanding hoses like I have and just leave the filter in the shed and then rinse the car with the hose.
Not sure I quite understand about your hose situation...
My vessell is one of the best things ive bought detailing wise (when it works!)
I had problems with my little 5L one which I then gave to @TheEvilGiraffe and I think he managed to fix it.
I have almost exactly the same as the one you linked and its been flawless but I did buy it brand new...
Ah, right. In that case, full scale panic mode.
Just kidding
You still need to work out your PIR if you're wanting to be accurate. Do you use snow foam in it at all or is this a first time run?
Step 1 - Breathe.
Step 2 - Begin sobbing
Step 3 - You need to calculate your PIR (Panel Impact Ratio). Ill be fucked if I know as ive never ever done it. Theres quite a few 'tutorials' on Detailingworld. Usually ill smack in 2 fingers (wheeey) worth of product and then top the bottle up to...
Think you'll have to play it by ear then mate. Generally speaking, most manufacturers have a kind of general hardness about their paint. E.g - BMW (seriously hard in most cases).
However, with a respray, its a bit unknown. I would start with @JamesBryan 's recommendation with something pretty...
I always go to Hex Logic pads mate. Lots of feedback on them and they look popular.
Give us an idea of what car you have as a 'light polish' can heavily depend on paint hardness mate
