I have not heard that James about the bilsteins. But saying that, I've never really looked into them as such so I've only seen praise.
Yeah they was totally honest about it all. I think that helps because the customer (me in this instanc) knows there car and the noises it makes so sometimes...
When is it not? :tongueout:
Was thinking the same mate. Gets on CS too and boom smashes the like button too!
Don't need to do all that s**t mate, your a hero regardless :kissingheart:
Well I just re-read what I wrote. Tyringham to speed? How the f**k does predicted text even predict that?! Stupid phone.
No offence taken Scott, you know me. Thanks Dan also :)
Love to you both x
That's quite true. I don't know of anybody either. They are a nice bit of kit.
The bilsteins are back up in price Scott. With this in mind, and Tyringham to not speed too much, I chose the Gaz's.
What I do like is that Gaz's aren't a million miles from me if I want to speak to them direct...
OK, so I still had the knocking noise last week. After a bit of investigation it was due to the shocks. This was clarified by using another set of cup shocks and cooksports. By fitting these the noise disappeared. So the coilovers went back on.
A few messages to Gaz and I went to see them...
Both can be easy, just depends on what you want to pay!!

Makes me want stripes.
What's the black thing is the bumper?
Also, you have a genuine cup splitter! Keep that! Most people put on a soda fabia as it's £15, the cup splitter one is £250 last time I checked!!
That's why you should never rag them from cold. Let the oil get around the engine fully.
I'm sure it's 6.4k until the engine is warm then it's 7.4 after. I could be wrong but it's there or there abouts.
No.
1. Because they are s**t.
2. Because you'll look like a knob with one.
3. Because your "protecting" the bonnet, but the bumper is still exposed to the same amount of chips.
At the Gaz HQ (In no particular order). Proper old skool factory!
Forgot to mention that i had the car aligned too. However i do think that ive ordered too soft a spring with these coilovers on the fronts (275lbs) so i may opt for the common 325lbs for...
Got the studs and spacers fitted. Had a bit of a result: Phone up the stud company and wanted to order studs but didnt have my card details with me. Got the paypal adress and i said id send it in the afternoon, but didnt have time due to work. Came in after the weekend and nuts were here! Bit of...
And me and @MrBlonde changed he's steering rack the other day and the PAS pipe kincked to the point of o return so we had to fit another one.
Ball ache job. We removed the gearbox cage and fitted it that way.
