No it can all be removed. All you need to do is bung up the pipe that goes from the inlet to the acoustic valve, otherwise you'll have an air leak/high revs.

Ive never had an issue with them before. I know there is better out there but i cant say its these for sure. They are tight. Just out of interest do you now the correct torque setting?

I will say its louder/more noticeable on the passenger side over the drivers, but it is coming from both.

Piss easy mate. Remove the front bumper, unplug the acoustic valve from the plug, (that can be cable tied away) and remove the air pipe. This can be cut down but it needs to be plugged up with a bolt or something as itll create a air leak. I cut mine down, fed it through the engine hoist cradle...

Only on solid top mounts as they are bolted in the turrets. Standard ones are raised and turn with the steering.
