GKN over on Hadley....yeah, I've heard of them. :)
The meet will be at 7:30 in Bentley Bridge in Wolverhampton for drink, bite to eat (2 for £10) and a chat. If you wanna go down in'convoy' you are more than welcome to tag along. Do the a464 through Shifnal...good roads :)
Fair play. Who you on placement with (if you dont mind me asking). I'm other end of the town in Trench...but you will see me floating round all over usually. We have a monthly meet a week on Monday if you fancy it...have a look on the West Mids section. Its about 30 mins away from Telford. :)
You have to factor in refurbishing the wheels if you are purchasing...so if its say £30 a wheel to refurb, you have to factor £120 to get them perfect.
Sometimes, if you get them done yourself professionally...you can pop more money on the price to cover the cost.
I just bought 4 and refurbed...
I have just done mine in sparkle silver. Most people suggested anthracite, was unsure, but went with a metallic silver as it looks better than flat silver but also has a nice metallic effect when clean!
Its the OP's choice...but I was putting in a suggestion :)
That is good to hear. I would go for powder coating as it will make a thicker coat/layer...I've just had my Turinis done and they look so nice in Powercoat. :approve:
What about not absinthe/200/0.1mph! ;)
Nah, as the lads above have said...seems like a decent and genuine guy, just wish he'd offer me more for my Cup spoiler! :rasp:
I am not organising it either. I am arranging a convoy up there for us lot in the West Midlands and any people further North or South who may want to tag along with us.
I think we're meeting up at a place and trying to make this lad's day. I don't think its about leaving point (a) and then...
When I am driving...all seems fine. When I press brake pedal, there is like a clicking noise as it slows. Doesnt do it any other time.
I've changed front pads before...so might do rears, but unsure what I need to do with them to get pads off as I've never done rears before.
I am still trying to work out a route...there is M6, M60, M62 or M6, A50 then M1 and over to Huddersfield using M62...I just want a decent run and short as possible. :o
If we are convoying up...I might suggest Hilton Park Services North on M6 so I dont have to go 20 miles out of my way just to...
Please see the above. Its in Huddersfield 1pm on Saturday 8th September.
The lad has v.little time left, lets do what we can to make this young lad's day. :approve:
Is it a standard exhaust? If so it could be the 4k rattle. It could be the heatshield...but this would vibrate quite frequently at any revs and even more so when stood still with engine ticking over.
BenR created AngelWorks but has since long left the Clio market.
I'm sure Dan @519automotive on here does them(matched inlets)...but dont know how it would work in Germany as he is based in UK.
I am not going mate...and I'm unsure who is from the Area.
If I had realised it was so soon, I would have started a convoy thread (but not participated!)
I'm sure if there is an escape of air somewhere...then a decent wheel refurbisher will be able to give you a good judgement on whether the wheel is worth repairing/replacing. Least then, you will know if it is worth spending the money on refurb or replacement.
