LOL, not quite bowling shoes...https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productselection.asp?Product=PIL001
Yep, Torque gathers the data then I rework within Excel and pull it all together within RaceRender2.
I managed 12,000 miles before I had mine done...it's worth the wait I think as you'll get to really appreciate it when it's finally done.
Glad you're loving it! Completely unsurprised though ;)
There's no massaging to the figures at all so long as fuel pumps and the mileometer are accurate. What I report and chart is all calculated from that.
It helps that my commute is lengthy but all on back roads, no junctions, no traffic, very little acceleration and braking. Hold your car on a...
Guaranteed I will! I can't think of any reason at all why I'd need or want something else for the next few years.
26 miles more on the way to work this morning...indicated mpg now shows 49. LOL
To follow. Didn't bother with that today, I just wanted to drive it.
I've just seen this... http://www.dmb.uk.com/cat/22/ford-badges-gel-overlays
Woop! :clap::clap::clap:
I managed to put 100 miles on it today on a variety of roads so, after 12,000 miles without and 120 miles with, what do I make of the MP215 pack?
In a word, impressive. I had a lot of opportunities today to give it a proper run, exploring how it now feels at different points on the rev range...
45 miles of b-roads tomorrow so will get a proper sense of how it feels and will post something in the evening.
I went out and filmed/data logged the 1.0 earlier so will throw something together vs my ST for a laugh.
Final thoughts on the 1.0, the brakes are up to it after all. It's a fantastic little thing. I reset the trip for the 5 mile drive back and got an indicated 68mpg.
MP215? Feels good. Not night and day different, only had a couple of opportunities to give it a squirt, but definitely harder...
Cuff Miller in Littlehampton. Won't be done before I get the kids from school so no chance of giving it some today.
Tomorrow's booked off as well though so have the whole day. Taking it to a mate who has a standard ST2 so we can try them back to back and side by side.
This is much better...
1.0 EcoBoost Zetec. To drive it's hilarious. Great noise from the three cylinders (but too quiet) and the grunt at 2k is mad. Feels far too soft and squidgy though and the brakes don't feel up to anything like a big stop. Brilliant car.
Thanks Gally, you spoil me. I'll bank those for private viewing later. First time I've seen green on black...gutted tbh, was planning on being individual and having lime green on mine.
I can vouch for this one...

I replaced the previous one I had for this one for two reasons, 1) this one's much much smaller...it means I can fit it then close the dash panel that it hides beneath instead...
Android app called 'Torque' to log everything and then a slight rework in Excel before importing it into RaceRender.
I did hit the limiter...it just doesn't bounce like the Clios do.
GoPro HD Hero 2.
Microphone was where the passenger's feet would be so it doesn't normally sound this...
This is the last weekend to get some footage and performance data before my ST gets the MP215 treatment on Wednesday so, as a synchronisation test and to whet the appetite of those waiting on delivery of theirs (I know of at least two), I went out and had a play. New phone, new OBD bluetooth...
