as an ex-trophy owner, i'd disagree... yes the Trophy has awesome handling but in the real-world, you'll struggle to notice the difference between it and an R27

The 172 i had for a few months felt slower than my old Trophy in a straight line, otherwise i don't think there was much in it. That was a PH-quick though, not a PH2

in all honesty, we did it and i don't think we saw much benefit from it... i found that the times i drove the Trophy for example, i drove it harder than if i was driving it everyday... fuel costs were still as bad.

that mean you've bought it? fair price to me tbh... Liquid yellow commands a good premium and i know if i hadnt just bought an R27 and wasn't in the process of buying a house i'd really be considering that!

hmmm, be interesting to see if you can get it for £11k... compared to what R27's were being knocked out at it'd be about right, but that is a hell of a discount!
