when an R27, which is arguably better specced as standard than the normal 197, was on sale for 13995 there was always going to be a knock on effect on the resale values of the 197. i'd argue it's also started to affect 182 values which have held strong up until the last 6 weeks or so. the...

i'd call and check... tbh most dealers will cash that tax in and then the buyer of your old car will then have to pay to tax it themselves. it's an easy couple of hundred for the dealer to make if you leave it on

the 182 suddenly looks very dated side by side with the 197 tbh... both interior and exterior (interior more so), plus it has heavier steering and clutch - not a bad thing but an immediate thing you notice when jumping from one to the other

opted for no decals which meant we got front and rear bumper ones only... they came off in a matter of minutes though... hairdryer pointed towards the front corner and then peeled them off without any hassle :approve:

you're looking at about 30mpg from the 197 as against mid 30's on a 182 as i never had any of my 182's from new i can't comment on how juicy they were from being a baby with 0 miles on the clock

sold as a standard 182, with tints, H&S exhaust and lowered on Eibach Sportlines... all other mods had been removed

from reading all the posts, i guess one of the main problems is that he's told everyone he paid £8k for it and as such with cliosport being the bargain centre that it is, at the back of most peoples mind is this information and as such people now expect to be able to pick it up for the same...

hmmm... certainly makes the FF R27 seem a good buy... but tbh the lengths they've gone to aren't that dis-similar from the 172 Cups over a FF172
