it is good at disguising the speed to be honest... as it's not as raw as either the 17/182 you carry more speed without realising it. low down is where it's lacking power, but i'm still putting that down to the fact it's a baby... time will tell but it's more planted at high speeds :)

yeah i wasn't too displeased when i saw the figures tbh... it feels like a quick one and i reckon with more miles under it's belt it'll get quicker yet :)

Well, an opportunity presented itself yesterday to get the R27 rolling roaded, so out of curiousity i whacked it on to see what sort of power it was running.... 760 miles on the clock :o but it ran 185.5bhp at the fly, 153.8bhp at the wheels. For such a new and low mileage car i was happy with...

don't K-Tec sell the RS Tuning map? Closer than Leeds is.... might be worth asking them perhaps?

i don't have vanity lights or a jack, but have heard the tyre foam is a different type that no longer requires the car to be jacked up...

it gets better... i used my first tank (compliments of my dealer) in about 3 days... currently getting 29ish mpg i think

speak to Steve@Allvehicles - www.allvehicles.co.uk - he has one left, currently fully specced in LY but it can be tweaked as it hasnt been built yet. Plus he'll give you a fair price for yours in p/ex too :) Tell him i sent you as well ;)

friends with a renault mechanic who ordered it for me but is just getting hassle with it arriving :dapprove: that said blackrat's arrived pretty quick!

mine was ordered about 5 weeks ago and still hasnt turned up. i'd cancel and go elsewhere but the thing is i've got it cheaper than anywhere else i found so just gotta play the waiting game! :mad:

Renault 'properly' or forum advised 'properly'? ;) it's feeling quicker than i remember the demonstrator being when i test drove it :D

i think it's on 650 or something... havent used it all week as been on the train.

go for a dci 80... less problematic and easily remaps to 100 anyway... pretty much what everyone else has already said anyway!

Yes had an unaccompanied test drive in a DC5 (with Sh33n sat beside me telling me to welly it ;)) And have a R27 too
