Too true, and i didnt exactly scrape the barrell either. Getting a facelift, with nav, heated seats, <100k miles & FSH isnt the cheapest route into M3 ownership, could have done it for considerably less lol. Ah well, fingers crossed ill get it back soon, & as you say, at least drive it in the...
Not quite yet lol. I remembered yesterday, & didnt want to book it for 2 people to turn up.
5-a-side is now booked for next Tuesday 4th Octobet at 9-10pm.
Tried to get it earlier, purely as its a ballache for me, but meh.
Cost is £22, divided by however many people up, but on Tuesday, please...
Nah, a BMW/Porsche/VAG specialist based close to the dealer. He's worked on a few M3's on the forums & spends all day putting loads of boost through things, so fingers crossed it'll be ok. Its not a cheap job (about 15 hours iirc), so i cant imagine the warranty company would have paid BMW £130...
Well, thought i'd add a little update now i've owned the car for a couple of weeks .... Now, at this point, i'd love to discuss the huge amounts of pleasure i've had driving around, enjoying the power & handling of the car i've dreamed about for years. Unfortunately i cant lol, i only drove it...

The Nav is a fantastic upgrade as well btw, brilliant thats its literally just plug & play :)
Same.
My 1st Trophy did exactly what the OP is describing last year. We (+Renault) thought it was the UCH.
Sarahs dad (electrical engineer) tested the battery properly and whilst it was holding a charge fine, so would lock/unlock, it was failing under load, ie when trying to start ...

An engine is 250 quid, just buy another one, but get a SPECIALIST to do the cambelt before u put it in, not some bloke down the pub, borrowing some tools he doesnt know how to use ...
I would make the assuption that its not the mail order side of the business that people have a problem with, more the tuning side, i.e. the bit that was bought it a few years back, from near Peterborough ...
Now, i've never bought anything from Ktec (as im tight & buy 2nd hand), so cannot...
