Awaits the breaking thread in traditional CS fashion :p
Looks awesome though Ollie, attention to detail is awesome.
You do need to spend more time driving it, & less time cleaning it though ...
lol @ the banter in here ... another cheapy here: http://pistonheads.co.uk/sales/3189862.htm
Chap is on M3cutters and says he will take £6k!! Based in Reading.
SS0 5LOW. How amusing.
Map it, at least that way you wont fall asleep at the wheel ;)
At least it has the Recaro's, quite why anyone would want a Sport 240 without them is anybodys guess.
I dont think i'm growing out of the clio necessarily, its more that i've got to a point where i have pretty much mastered getting the best out of FWD these days. As such, from a driving 'challenge' perspective, im finding myself more drawn towards RWD, especially RWD on a track, where i find...
Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
I'd put the steering wheel boss on upside down lol!! Turned it around & all was fine, think it messed up the steering angle sensor or something :o
Had the shed for pretty much a year now, so took a picture of it this morning...
Ha ha, well yes, would have loved to have been around in the era when 205's actually worked on the 1st turn of the key, but even im not that old :rasp:
Yeah, thats the 1st one, day i bought it iirc. Luke on here owns it now ...
I own a pretty modified Trophy, that i have adapted to make more 'fun' for trackdays.
In fact, it is now considerably better than before, why?
Because it handles more like my 2 x 106gti's and saxo vts.
As a daily, the clio is better, but as my car is not a daily, i wish i hadnt sold the saxo...
They will unfortunately, but its just means the prices will fall even further!! Then, when all the e46's are written off, & the idiots upgrade to e92's, the e46's will become more cherished, & the prices will slowly rise again.
Happened with the e30 (i remember when you could buy one for 5...
Its been done, fairly recently in fact, involved a certain Chertsey based tuning company, an RS2 extra & some C&B cams. 201bhp at SRR iirc. Was running the map for the normal RS2, so would possibly have done more with a few mapping tweaks.
Not all the development work was put on the forumz yo ;)
Now, ill be honest, motorbikes have never really done anything for me tbh, dangerous things that Power Rangers hurtle around on.
Having watched this video, i now understand.
The buzz must simply be incredible, even watching the video i felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end :o...
Ok, so Mike will probably get all angry when he gets back, & tell us all to man up, but i reckon we should just go to the pub.
Rain is for real men.
Anyways, I'm going to pop to Nicks after work & laugh at Ollie whilst he attempts to remove things/snaps some bolts on Nick's car.
Give me a...
Nah, massive miles, probably a bit of rust hear & there, probably been offered 50p as trade in, etc etc etc.
Tartan is cool, but the telephone is hero spec.
Its oop nurth somewhere, & i cant be bothered driving miles to discover its a nail, otherwise it would be outside my house lol.
ROFL at the prices in utter freefall:

Plenty around at less than £8k, but this is just daft ...
Normally i use Halfords, but the detailing geek who owned the 330 previously has polished it to within an inch of its life.
It beads & everything!!
What can i use to remove the dirt, but not the polish/wax/whatever else is on there...
