would be interesting if someone did an article on different filters materials types etc and did a flow test amount of air passing etc.. and how much crap it filters out. Paper ones must filter the best but ovi gunna be worse for air flow.

I reckon fairy liquid would do the job aswell, if your gunna polish and wax it, i dont think itl matter

I think cotton gauze flows more but doesnt filter aswell as foam, but in all fairness i dont think youd notice a difference between any aftermarket filter about from in your wallet just go for the cheapest!!

when you say huge difference i assume you mean it made it less restrictive and throatier.

Bandage wont last, good for about 30 days. You need to weld it if you want the repair to last for a decent while

I think id pay the extra and get the eibach suspension. As there very well known and recommended on here.

I think all these do it tell the ECU that the air is cold, hence leaving it on choke constantly not 100% though.

Might be an obvious thing to say, but have you checked the inertia switch under the bonnet? Mine did this and i spent all day looking at it trying to work it out and it was just that stupid switch

I wouldnt bother changing mine unless i had reason to. If it aint broke dont fix it, spend the money on something more productive. ^^ Agreed NGK are probably the best plug

I reckon youd be better off putting the k&n on the end of the metal pipe rather than just have it on the feed down there. There wont be any hot air in that corner

What size do you need for a pipe from the airbox to engine?

you can pick up a odb reader for 20-25 quid of ebay, might be your best bet. Forgot what type it is that you need... Think its on ktechs website but there much cheaper on the bay

Well if it cant be repaired then screw it then if it goes again then ill just get a new tyre but i aint gunna chuck a decent tyre away

Thats a coolant pipe, think the thermostat is in there not 100% though

I jsut put a little bleach in mine then siphoned it out with a hose (ovi not to much) seemed to do the trick

mine revs up and down when its cold idling once its warm its fine, never really bothered me that much to be honest

Sorry really quick Q. How do i use this stuff it says on the can postition valve at 10h 10 not sure what that means. Also do i hold the can upright or upside down when applying it. I did a quick search but couldnt find out Cheers
