    Megane brake pads - opinions?

If you clownshoe it and stamp on the brakes line you're qualifying for the Belgian gp, they're right. Normal track use with a bit of mechanical sympathy, they're good. But the 2 pad solution above is undoubtedly better.

    Laptop/Tablet Hybrid?

Any tablet and keyboard combo will work. Install the ebay app, use the inbuilt camera for taking pictures. I'd go for a full size tablet, at 74 the eyes don't tend to work quite as well!

    My new car!

I'm not a Ford fan, but that's the best colour, and nice to see one on silver wheels. The new one doesn't look as special, not even close. Probably a better car, but less character.

Ultimate fast road occasional track day suspension set up

I've run h&r, bilstein and kW v2. KW were hands down the best, followed by the bilstein. Given the price difference, bilstein and a whiteline would be my preference.

    Cheap low miles, sorted R26

Most seats that humans can comfortably sit in for more than 30min are crap on track. Stick a Cg lock in, job done.

220 trophy vs fiesta st 200 track battle

Still crap according to the evo writer I spoke to. He said the magazines have taken it pretty easy on Renault, because they are brilliant to deal with in terms of press cars and long termers. Anyone that's driven the 200 edc and vag dsg can see the issues after only a few miles. A 2005 golf has...
