I get mine from here and they're great. They don't have that stupid little thing at the bottom like in the picture either.

Just plain plates. No borders, no fancy plastic raised letters, no ''GTI'' on the bottom etc. Just plain plates.
I'm assuming you'll be playing with the spacing on your new xmas present, so keep the plates plain and you're even less likely to get stopped IME.
Who's bitching?? I'm asking a genuine question, why do you think the trophy will be a classic? Calm yourself down.
Yes it's a good hot hatch but that doesn't make it a future classic. Look at the RS Turbos! They handle dreadfully, they rust, they aren't fast... But they are cast iron classics...
Trophy's will always be worth more than other 182's but they won't be classics and they're certainly not investments!!

Looking like it might be the Osrams then.
As above. Driving home tonight reminded me how diabolical the headlights are on my passat. I need brighter and whiter lights as opposed to the dim yellowy rubbish it currently has.
I don't want an HID kit because I don't trust the cheap ones and I don't want to pay £100's on a proper kit...
They won't pre-order anything, it will need to be tested before they agree to anything.
The fact the car has one owner and has been looked after by the same dealer it's whole life swings massively in his favour.
Not to scare you but I have a friend that has had 10+ X5's all brand new from My...
