Just get them powder coated. At £20 a wheel, you'll never beat that for VFM.

IPA is on eBay. It's a very useful product! 5L tub of it is less than £15 delivered. With the polish, do the windscreen first, then the rest if the car. Move straight on to removal in the same order. Bosh.

AG Glass polish is good. Just remember less is more! Use a damp applicator and a clean good quality MF and it will leave the glass lovely. I personally use IPA 50/50 with water. It's cheap and it does a cracking job.

    Devastated

From the thread title I was expecting to hear a family member had died or was suffering a terminal illness. I'm not sure i'd be 'devastated' about some damage on a 10 year old clio tbh. Pissed off probably.

Good to meet you at last mate. With all the niggles sorted, you now have one of the best ph2 172's I've had. If not THE best. Been a pampered car for sure.

Paint correction, worth paying for or DIYing?

@Knuckles is your man. He's cheap and good. Sadly, he looks like shaggy from scooby doo.

Paint correction, worth paying for or DIYing?

That's why I suggested a DA. The only way you'll damage the paint with a DA is if you throw it at the car.
