Thanks, Ben :) Yeah that one always seems to surprise people on here and TP :p It means that GCSE photography is an absolute doddle lol

Haha, I paraphrased your first post with some slight exaggeration ;) And ahh I see, that seems logical I suppose.

As for the retailers I think they’re a fairly well used and trusted retailer, the bag is good for an inconspicuous camera bag, the Nat Geo camera bags get a good name too.

By saying a 50 is what you see it means that the focal length is what your eye is, so if you got the viewfinder next to what you actually see it should appear as a continuation of what you see normally just with a black box around it, the way everything is in terms of size and your perspective...

If you look through the viewfinder at 50mm then take your eye away and then back again everything should look the same other than having a smaller field of view, the actual proportions and ‘size’ of everything as you see it with your eye is the same, it is by no means saying that you have a near...

I was in the same position as Luke a few months back, after handling the FF Pro Canon body my D7000 never felt adequate.

I’m 15 haha. The story goes that I went to meets with my brother and I wanted to post my pics from them on the forum so I joined, just to save explaining before the inevitable question of my is somebody who can’t drive on a car forum :p It’s not quite as spontaneous as that, and it isn’t just...

Shame that I can’t make it to Oulton tomorrow, I would have had a chat with you and seen the new camera.

Cheers. It is but I’m not invading on anything? The camera is seeing what I and everyone else can see with their eyes so no privacy is being invaded.

The new 35mm F1.4 Art Series is said to rival the Canon 35mm F1.4L, and about half the price too.

No, I went for this one on my Nikon too, it beats both Canon and Nikon’s own offerings in the F1.4 category apparently according to reviews, the 50mm F1.2L is another story however.

Fair enough, but that’s street photography for you, it often splits opinion. But I’m guessing then that you complain to every CCTV company that captures your every move? Surely they’re capturing you unknowingly also?

    I use the Sigma 50mm F1.4

Thanks everyone :) And Tom, I see what you mean, I cropped it like this because I liked the geometry of the different lines, columns and the platform surrounding the people but I'll try your idea for a crop :)

You use a Neutral Density filter and a long exposure, so as the clouds move they are blurred because of the slow shutter speed (long exposure).
