By saying a 50 is what you see it means that the focal length is what your eye is, so if you got the viewfinder next to what you actually see it should appear as a continuation of what you see normally just with a black box around it, the way everything is in terms of size and your perspective...

Fair enough, but that’s street photography for you, it often splits opinion. But I’m guessing then that you complain to every CCTV company that captures your every move? Surely they’re capturing you unknowingly also?

And Tom, I see what you mean, I cropped it like this because I liked the geometry of the different lines, columns and the platform surrounding the people but I'll try your idea for a crop :)
