Bokeh can differ from body to body, I noticed a difference a good while ago when I switched from my D40 to a D5100, and again when I switched from a D7000 to 5D2. So there probably will be a difference :)
I couldn’t guarantee that seems as I’ve not used either camera, it depends on what you shoot. I shoot a lot of general things with some motorsport thrown in so it’s fine for me, but if you need those longer focal lengths then crop is advantageous.
Just have a surf on Flickr through some photos...
Yeah, I mean the lenses that you will see the biggest difference with are your fixed aperture 24-70’s etc, the focal lengths are given new purposes too. As is mentioned above, it is expensive to do but luckily my choice to go with Canon when going full frame is a good one when you consider the...
I’ve recently made the change and it was obvious from the start that the images had a nice look to them. The bokeh was smoother and the DoF is shallower, also the tone rendition was better. Another thing that I like is the huge viewfinder you get with the mirror being so much bigger, it makes...
It’s a great effect when done well, it looks like you’ve encountered the same problem as I did when I tried it once; the dark areas down the side of the car. It happened on mine too, it seems that I didn’t get even coverage of the car and there was a dark patch :/
Still a good shot non the less :)
The above mentioned Sigma 10-20 is fantastic, don’t bother with the f3.5 version, it’s more money and supposedly less sharp. The Tokina is also excellent and you get that F2.8 aperture - but of course, that comes with a premium.
These were some of mine with my old D7000 & 10-20 combo

I agree with Phil on that point, after using James's this weekend I couldn't get over how good it was, the autofocus was especially a luxury on the 5D2 for frantic street stuff. It's a nice focal length on FF too.
If you have the money go for the 5D, it's superior in every aspect. If you want to save some money for some glass then get the 6D, it's still a fantastic camera.
James's 100-400 is great for reach, it was long on FF so on crop it'd be insane; it'd be an effective 640mm on Canon 1.6x crop, so that'd be ideal for your plane stuff, the autofocus is quick and it feels really sturdy, I think you'd like it. I have to agree with Phil too, it is better to have...
So on saturday I went to London to take some pictures and to just take in the sights of the city, I couldn’t have asked for better weather - as most of you will know it was scorching on saturday which made it a perfect day in such an awesome city. I hope my photos aren’t too cliche either, I’d...
