Will do I only go that way for the Dog racing most times :)
I have had going on for around 26 cars many different performance ones and this car the way it is now has left me shocked such a little rocket but still very OEM .
Last week I had the car go in to Devil Developments for them to fit the Quaife ATB LSD along with new bearings , gear oil etc.
Yesterday with the roads not covered in salt or water and with the temps not a –1 I had a little test of the diff to see how this has changed the car .
Blown away...
So I have given the car a little test over the week end but as its been so cold have not had chance to push it in the corners .
First impressions are that the car is a little bit stiffer and more firmly sprung going over bumps than the OEM set up but is no more and TBH less crashy over bumps...
Just don't get tempted to start fiddling :)
Quote to the girlfriend = I will not be touching this car as it is new and has a three year warranty .......................................
Thanks it is getting there and will have another go when there is the next Clio RR day .
The car is in next Tuesday for a ATB LSD and different softwere .
The car is still on the drive way and I have not driven it yet as im away with work this week but will have a good test at the weekend and report .
The car does not have anymore lag less TBH and feels more keener so the smother air flow must be helping and with the bigger turbo more volume...
I managed to install all of the suspension upgrades at the weekend a nice and easy job and one step closer to the car being finished off .
The upgrade parts are Mountune club sport suspension ( bilstein B8 shocks and Eibach / Mountune springs ) Powerflex rear spring isolators , Whiteline rear...
The car in the vid is running the AET VT330R so around 320 BHP my car is running the Collins CP4X and put out 269 BHP at Surry rolling road ( running an out of date and low power gen 1 map I am told ) so yes that car is running much more than my one but gives a good account of how 4WD and LC...
Came across this and not my cup of tea at all regarding the car and the driving on public roads but was interesting seeing how a hybrid fiesta ST goes vs an A45 AMG standing and rolling .
So next up and to finish the car off I have the car booked in to Devil Developments on the 06/02/18 to have a Quaife ATB LSD fitted along with new bearings oil etc .
I will also be having the car lived mapped with there custom stage 3 software and a RR session done to make sure everything is ok...
Smooth out air flow and add volume to the inlet manifold and throttle body .
The inlet manifold is plastic on the Fiesta ST so i do not think it gets that hot its more to smooth air flow and add volume .
Over the Christmas holidays I managed to get a few more things done on the car and do some service work .
The car has just come up to 12000 miles .
First up was to clean the ITG air filter as it has not been cleaned in over a year .
Old dirty looking filter
Clean and oiled ready to...
At the weekend I did some final bits to put the car on the road .
Oli and filter change .
