So after my Ring trip this month and the track car I had built ( see below ) I just about managed to bring the Saxo VTS home but after going through a few bits and weighing up all options i have had a change of plans and now the Saxo is up for sale ...
I do understand this as the std car is just so good out of the box and with this you can use all of the power and it can handle it and that stock the car is very good .
With the extra power you have to drive the car in a different way I agree and I had a go in a friends stock ST and it was...
You are looking at £ 1200 for a Mountune one installed and all the bits .
No my one is a late 2016 so has the ST 200 suspension and TBH it copes with the extra power just fine .
The CSC5 tyres I have put on have made a big difference .
Yes you can even get a £ 13.00 relocation / dummy OBD2...
TBH I would not use them just things I have read and herd .
Collins or Mountune for me as they don't make as much power but keep a big safety margin and dive better on the road .
Yes stock looking bar the exhaust and the intercooler but the intercooler you cant see unless you know what your looking for as it is black the same as the grill

Car was £ 16175
Stage 2 bits £ 870
Sold stage 2 intercooler and air box + £ 445
Stage 4 + exhaust £ 2650
Total £ 19250
I do have other bits that I have got like brakes tyres ect but under £ 20,000 for a car that is quicker than the new Civic Type R , Golf R ect is not a bad price in my mind
So yesterday my Fiesta St clocked 1000 miles and I thought I would give a quick sum up of the car so far .

I picked the car up new in May 2016 and it was a ST-3 that has all of the stuff on it like keyless entry auto lights ect the...
It was great fun even with a sick car and the weather was mixed but still some good times .
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and will be going there again as the location and rooms are great . ( full English breakfast is not bad too )
It is my third trip after saying I want...
Ok so after the trip to the ring im left with the car that is not too happy and I lay the blame with the G/F for maxing it to 130 MPH on the autobahn :)
The main problem is the gearbox is whining very bad and crunch / will not go in to second and third
The power steering is playing and needs...
On Monday me and the G/F set off on our third trip to the Nurburgring and took my stage 4 Fiesta ST and the Saxo VTS track car ( see below for Saxo build )

We set off at 2.00 AM Monday morning and after a few stops for...
So my lightweight door cards turned up just in time to fit them along with the Blue door pulls so last night I installed them .

That is now it and we will see if the car makes it back or if I will need to look for a new track toy :)
What sort of cost would it take to get to that power? As in bare minimum. You've changed spec a little along the way, so interesting to know how much it would cost. Does the clutch take the power ok? How is it without a diff?
For the CP4X and the exhaust this was £ 2500 all in .
For a CP2 +...
Then in April this year I went up to Collins to have there CP4X pack fitted that was X-47 hybrid turbo , Airtec intercooler , CP4 remap .
Info below .
Featuring the awesome X-47 turbocharger, along with our own design uprated actuator, we have seen impressive results! Even during the early...
