Not recently no so not me!
I considered that but a dipstick check on the morning of its once over at Ford showed the oil still looking like it had just been put in...clear and bright gold in colour so I didn't bother having it changed.
There is no new gear box map.
Jeremy Townsend who's pretty good on things like this over on renaultsport.co.uk confirmed there has been NO revision to the gearbox software.
Don't feel too bad...my commute means most won't see anything like the mpg I managed. If I had to drive on more normal roads I'd probably only see 40-42mpg ;)
Currently sat in my supplying dealer's waiting room while the ST undergoes its 1,500 mile check.
My ownership experience so far has been flawless. New car syndrome I know and I'm sure over the next 5 years some gripes will surface, but for me, right now, it's perfect.
Economy is definitely...
I'm driving it in a way that would see 38-40 mpg in my 200. Still keeping up with traffic, but being considered with my acceleration and coming off the throttle way before I reach junctions to minimise braking.
I think with a few k more miles and a bit more learning of how the engine works best...
LOL what do they know?! 1,650 miles on mine now, 130 miles into this latest tankful and I have an average for the tank showing of 50.7 mpg.
It's coming to life as the miles pile on :approve:
It's on its way. Rumour has it that Ford haven't signed it off yet due to under-bonnet temperatures (cooling was always the big issue with development of the 1.6 litre EcoBoost lump).
Figures being talked about for Mountune are 210bhp with overboost to 240bhp. Carrying 1,150 kgs and with a full...
I know...it's caused much confusion.
This morning, with a solid 50 mile range still showing on the trip computer I managed to put 46.67 litres in...so it's definitely not 42 litres maximum.
I love that first picture.
Was an unusual night really...normally meets there require umbrellas, wind-breaks and heavy coats. Shorts and t-shirts post 2100 was odd LOL
Good to see everyone again.
No it isn't...the facelifted Fiesta has a 56 litre tank...pre-facelift were 42 litres.
Brim to brim? That's all I ever do. Once I've enough fill-ups for a few charts I'll update and upload.
Just the one in August at Goodwood...looking forward to it hugely as I've not managed to get out at Goodwood for a couple of years now.
I'm expecting to be disappointed a little by my ST on track...there's not much point holding on to these right to the redline so it's going to take some...
Great colour combo...what I'd have had if I could have been a little bit more patient!
I don't know where they're all hiding...I still haven't seen a single other one on the roads yet.
I've been driving like a tool for this last fill up...lowest I've seen is 36mpg. Before I started booting it everywhere I was seeing low forties.
Another 1,000 miles on it and I'll be hitting 40 as a matter of course and able to eek 50 out of it without trouble I think.
Symposer seems to have...
Not mine, and not strictly relevant comparing the two, but interesting nonetheless. No report from him of the ESC intruding when it's off (as Chris Harris reported) and he had it moving about well enough for it to try and bring him back.
Six weeks to go until I can find out for myself.
Other...
