The shims in your calipers were removed years ago, when i fitted the 1st set of DS2500's.
Just put copper grease on the back of the pad, bung them in the caliper. Job done.
Then make sure you bed them in properly.
Brake from 30-10, 50-30, 70-30, 90-30 a few times, dont stop between braking...
