Right ho, ladies & gentlemen, welcome to the 1st review of the FailSport Le Mans Tour 2011. I’ll attempt to keep it short & sweet, but will no doubt fail spectacularly, leading to a thread of waffle & bollox like usual.
I won’t include many pictures of the actual race, as quite frankly, my...
Looks fast, & the interior view means you dont have to look at it ;)
Although judging by the speed at which the 250's had to get out of the way of the FailBus at Bedford, i'd assume that the pink shed could do the 'ring BTG in sub 6 minutes.
Found these on my pc at home recently, so thought i might as well share.
Bought in October 2005, & cost me just under £10k with 11k miles. Sold it 4 months later with 29k on it ... definitely not suitable for a Cheltenham to West London commute lol :o
Bloody brilliant car...
Have you had the coilovers setup properly?
Trophy is set up for oversteer. I turn in, lift, backend comes round, floor it, move onto next corner. Thats -2.8 camber on the front, -1.8 on the rear, front toe slightly out. I do have a Whiteline (set to hard) though. Its not quite the LOOS happy...
Personally, i think the lines are a waste of money. Make absolutely no difference whatsoever in my experience.
Worth doing if you're changing the fluid anyway (@£25 via GB), but pointless otherwise.
You cant get a stealth for the Trophy, purely as your exhaust are on show, not stealthly hidden behind the bumper.
I have a BTB exhaust & a V6 airbox with Pipercross filter. Does the job.
Re: 'Sir_Dave's Caged, Cleaned & Toyed-with Shed Trophy Paedo Wagon
Soo ... this weekend i spent the weekend chasing a Caterham (& Richard's MCS) around some of my favourite roads in the Cotswolds. Was absolutely awesome fun!! Caterham wasnt too shabby either tbh ;) although it really didnt...
Unfortunately not, flying out to Thailand on the same day!!
Just a word of advice, if you want to keep it looking mint, dont buy Carbon Lorraines. My wheels are f*cked already & they've only been on 2 weeks lol ...
Looks nice!! Although the interior isnt quite to my taste lol ....
Also, it should have MV1 wheels, not MV2's ;) looks a little strange as its pre-facelift. Oh, & MV2's are a b**ch to clean properly!!!
Welcome to the e46 club though. They're great cars!! You wont get for 35mpg for much longer...
Looks epic. Let me know if you ever want to sell it ;)
Bilstein B8's & Faulkner -35mm are like the standard setup, but just a little firmer. Could quite easily be OEM tbh.
You got the girls Pugsport btw, the Hero's choice is the 2" tailpipe ...
