Went out yesterday to get some waterfall and long exposure shots. I swear the rain was following us! Finally headed back to the coast and the sky was nice but I wish we had got there half hour earlier.
A couple from Betws-Y-Coed during the brief dry spell.

Try to get booked in on the shard, looks great for evening pics of the city.
The eye and along the Thames are good too. As is the underground.
There's loads I want to go back to. Weather was a bit crap last time I was there
Traded in my old 30d and a couple of lenses for a Sigma 10-20 today. Nipped to the beach on the way home to have a quick play. Started raining and the wind was horrible so I didn't do much but I quite like this shot. Not sure if i prefer the colour or b&w edit.

Good idea. You have some cracking shots so I will be keeping an eye on this.
Are you shooting a different spot on the canal each week or the same one so you can see the changes throughout the year (maybe a final time lapse video?)
I managed to get a few long exposures of the sea the other day without a filter. I had ISO at 100, f18 I think and the shutter was a few seconds. Done the job.
I'll upload them when back home and double check the settings.
The 10-20/22 is the next lens I am after. Just need to free up some funds for it. Found one second hand for around £300, New they are around £380 (for the Sigma)
Good thing about it is the thread size is the same as I have now so all my filters will cross over.
Have also considered a...
That's nice ^^
Took this yesterday, came out well I think. Had to crop it a bit though as there were a couple of buoy's which I struggled to clone out.

And this one which I had taken my ND filter off, well over exposed but quite like it.

Couple of shots from my way home today. Snow doesn't seem to be sticking around here though :(

Did you download just the cs2 file? The serial number was right next to it. There should have been two files, one Windows, one Mac and the relevant number next to each one.
Took this last bight. Pissed off that I must have knocked the focus ring as the church isn't right. Also thought I was getting the north star in shot when I was setting up. Wider lens needed, so will be selling my other camera to fund I think.
Will be going back soon. Pretty cold last night...
Nice Scott. How long was the exposure on the milky way ones? Quite a bit of movement in the stars I see.
I was reading a thread which tells you the best shutter speed for capturing static stars (I assume it all depends on how your camera copes with the high ISO though.. I think its 600 divided...
The 3 disks are for the whole creative suite. That includes Audition, Premier, Photoshop, Elements and more.
If you just want CS2, then just download the file (I think the 340mb on is right).
The site worked for me yesterday but I downloaded the 3 files and at 95% done they failed. Managed to download cs2, elements 5 & the video editing software from the list though and they work fine.
Jessops heading in to administration. Doesn't really surprise me though as they are very overpriced. Internet wins again.
Hope that there's a fire sale soon though as I quite fancy the Sigma 10-22.
Went to Liverpool yesterday but the weather was terrible! Popped in to the Anglican cathedral though. Very impressive building. Want to go back with a wider lens and when its not raining so I can get some shots of the outside.

Yeah have been looking at this for Android after a mate told me about it.
Supposed to be very good for doing high speed photography, something that I wouldn't mind trying out again.
Yeah was pretty windy today too.
If you are over this way again give us a shout and I'll try to meet up with you. Know some nice places in North Wales for photography.
Oh yeah. Had a snotty comment left on 'silky smooth' earlier from a guy on flickr that made me laugh. He deleted it straight...
I'm not the best on here for giving advice but I would say, manual focus (on a tripod), remote shutter, mirror lockup. F8-11 maybe on aperture priority and see how you get on.
Someone more experienced might come in and tell you something else. Listen to them if they do.
Not too sure if this is too dark...
Horrible grey day, 2 minute exposure. Did play around in Lightroom to try to enhance the sky but not sure if its worked or not...

Nice Ben. Also like your "Daily" too that is on Flickr.
Stopped at the light house on way home yesterday. Clouds weren't moving as well as I'd hoped. Need to go back on a day with some more wind I think.
